  1. Game publishers still have trouble with the idea that good games sell, live service or not.

  2. Children don’t have recurrent cash too spend. And if they don’t save their money, they can’t pay money too buy consoles etc. later in life and pay for EA’s Gambling based boring and pointless loot boxes!

  3. This won't dissuade the money grubbing rats in charge though. What they see is: Elden Ring could have made 10x the money if it was full of micro transactions and live service bullshit mechanics. They think they can make as much money out of any game as they do with FIFA if they just stick more and more "live service" shit in it.

  4. When EA or Ubisoft say that "Singleplayer games have no place in the industry", they're not saying that they're unpopular or don't sell well. What they're saying is that these sorts of games don't deserve to be popular or successful because they don't financially exploit the playerbase at every step of the game. in the ideal world for EA and Ubisoft, every game would be monetized like Chocobo GP: a Full-Price game that uses every shitty monetization system they can think of on top of an expiring Pay-Currency.

  5. I would agree they have learned from their past entries… but not 100% though, there is still three mechanics that they have not implemented yet. 1. Climbing big bosses and medium bosses 2. Swimming mechanics having a player fine rebreather parts either to the West parts or the East parts and bring it to the Smithy for him to make it for the player so that they can have an underwater Adventure. Finally 3. Climbing Ledges.. as a matter of fact everywhere that your horse cannot go even with the double jump you can now climb it. For these three reasons that are common sense and won't destroy the Integrity of the hardness of the game needs to be implemented.. because it just makes sense.
