Noooooo not my frost stomp!!! And blood slash!? What the hell man. I will never understand why the do this with PVE.
Some of these nerfs seem very hamfisted. Not that they hit the wrong targets, they just seem a bit over the top and very straight forward. They could do more things than just increase cost or decrease duration to balance something like barricade shield for example, especially since that skill didnt seem like a problem in pvp at all.
After everyone's last breath on earth, the soul (spirit) goes to a new place; that's either Heaven or Hell.
How is heaven? heaven is a very good place with no sins, sorrows, crying, lust, greed; in other words there is no sin there and itโs full of joy.
How is hell? Matthew 13:50 (UKJV) โAnd shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.โ Hell is very terrible and itโs very very hot, you canโt survive placing your hand on a hot stove for 10 seconds, donโt even think you will withstand burning there without being consumed,
The thing here is you will be burned without being consumed in hell the same same way you boil a hard rock in water you will be there for eternity,
Again after judgement you will be thrown in lake of fire forever.
Hell is a place of suffering from intense tormenting, so why choose to go there instead of going to Heaven?
Here is the steps you must read, understand and believe in order to be sure you will be on your way to Heaven.
Salvation
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). He also said, "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved" (John 10:9, NASB). Jesus is not only the way to heaven, he is also the door to heaven.
Realise you are a sinner; Isaiah 64:6 (UKJV) But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses(the quality of being morally right) are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Deserving hell for sins
Realise that you deserve hell for your sins;
Romans 6:23 plainly states that the wages of sin is DEATH.ย In Genesis 2:17 God warned Adam and Eve that they would die THE DAY they ate of the forbidden fruit.ย They disobeyed God, but didn't DIE physically until hundreds of years later.ย Why? It's because they DIED SPIRITUALLY that awful day, and all mankind has been born spiritually dead since (Romans 5:12).ย Please understand that spiritual death and the second death areย notย the same.ย Every person who is not born again is ALREADY spiritually dead.ย The second death is Gehenna, i.e., the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:11-15).ย All those who die in their sins, without being born again( that is believing that Jesus Christ got crucified and shed his blood for their sins, buried and rose again in the third day and alive now in heaven), will be arraigned, prosecuted, and sentenced atย The Great White Throne of Judgmentย and then cast into the Lake of Fire forever.ย
Repent
So repent, Repenting means: to change your mind; a sincere turning away, in heart, mind and action; Therefore God wants you to repent of sinful values and of sinful living. God wants you to decide to follow Him and to make Jesus the Lord of your life.
No other way
If you want to go to heaven, you've got to go through the door marked "Jesus Christ." There is no other entrance.
By no other entrance it means belief in gods, Buddha, Muhammad or other beings or objects cannot save you; But only belief in Jesus Christ our Lord can save you.
Hebrews 10:4, 10ย For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Any other form of sacrifice be it animal sacrifices it can't save you but we are only saved through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.
No works can save you, there is no physical thing you can do to get saved but you are only saved through faith at what Jesus Christ did for you as simple as that.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Believe
All you need to do is to truly believe with your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ suffered and got crucified and shed his blood for your sins at the cross, He was buried but rose again on the third day just to prove he was God and now alive in heaven. After that you will receive the holy spirit and you will know that you are going to heaven after death or when Jesus comes back while you are still alive.
After believing at Christ as the savior you must change your ways and try to stay away from bad works or sins as hard as possible, you must show that you are a new individual in Christ. e.g stopping fornication, getting drunk, homosexual acts, masturbation, pornography e.t.c.
Romans 6:12-13ย Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
As a human you will still fall at some sins of course as no human is perfect, but you must not swim in sin you must try your best to fight against sins and live a righteous life. Mimic Tear got a buff actually. As a devout Dark Moon Greatsword user, my Mimic Tear will now actually USE the blade of moonlight ability. Previously it never buffed itself and used it so this was an incredible boost. And yes, they still solo bosses so I don't see dropping it anytime soon, if ever.
Was the Blasphemous Blade build taken down? Or did you never have one up Im having a serious case of Mandela effect because i wanted to see a build for it if possible and i could have sworn you had one its fine either way
Iโd wanted to make a frost build from before the game came out. bittersweet that my ice axe ended up being the most busted shit in the game. hoarfrost stomp absolutely needed a nerf, but its damage was cut by like 90% in addition to being slower. its pretty much useless now. much better ways to apply frostbite

In addition to the nerve and mustard agents, 400,000 chemical bombs, rockets, and land mines were also dumped at at least 26 different spots off the coast. The dumping took place post-WWII and carried on until 1970. The Army isn't entirely sure where all the weapons were discarded.

most of the changes are good, they did however drop the phisical damage reduction on all models of heater sheild so inverted hawk, eclipse crest, etc from 100 to 91 which is rough, so now most medium sheilds do not block 100 and thats a real shame
2 shields that changed- Great turtle shield took a 13% physical dam res nerf! Also the Icon shield was buffed in the same place from 87 to 95.
For every fucking balance changes they do they should at least compensate the players with larval tear
They got my frost stomp noooo ๐ญ it helped a lot fighting Rennala so she wouldnโt get away. I was not going to let her go, she was go catch these hands ๐๐
These bitches nerfed all good things and they buffed trashes like some sorcery spells . it becomes more like souls game but harder ๐.it's good that they fix bugs or decrease some item costs but does it matter when they nerfed goodies

Mimic Tear does less damage but employs Ashes of War now more for me. It's health wasn't effected. Thing is still very useful, honestly I think it's better now than it was before.
Can i just ask – does Fromsoft have a "plan" that they are working towards as a goal with regards to these changes, or is it all a case of "look at the speedrunners, and nerf what they call op"..? Because I would hate to think that they are making changes based on emotions, because if thats the case, then nerfs will continue to happen until items and spells become so nerfed that they all become weak…

Overall, I'm enjoying the changes. Any QoL stuff they do is welcomed like map markers & using npc vendors to buy missed items.. that being said, I hate the barricade shield FP increase. Hoping they add larval tears to the twin maiden husks. Maybe 1-3 that you can buy but go out of stock after being bought.. just to help those using certain weapons & equipment that were hit. RIP Sword oN&F users. If anything, I'd have liked to see required stat increases as opposed to just nerfs but I know this doesn't help those who like the PvP aspect. Again, overall, I'm happy with the changes & think it will improve the game in the long run.
The summoned spirit mimic debuff is stupid. It should be a replica of the casting character even if its busted. Can't be used in pvp anyway.
I was about to make a video on all the mini-bosses I slayed with the Bloody Slash AoW. Some of the bosses I'd walk in on were 4-6 slashes and it was over. Almost too easy. I HAVE noticed the slashes self damage has increased. You have to watch your health bar now. I was using it against a boss and killed myself from using it too much.
I know Barricade shield should be nerfed, but i just tested the buff yesterday on my brass shield post 1.03. and it still shows 8 fb in the item description and lasts 15 seconds. I have other stuff the patch brought like NPC location but the buff stays untouched. Bug? I play with fully offline, maybe that's it?

This update totally nerfed my build, i had leveled up both my uchigatnas to +8 with the blood slash technique and with this current update my attacks dont do anything like they used too and I'm struggling eliminating foot soldiers and creatures ..my build is worthless now and i can't progress without dying much faster. Its stupid that my build had to get nerfed after putting in over 70 hours into the game and leveling up so much

I'm using Golden Vow instead of Determination now when I want to buff my scorceries.
The fucking patch nerfed my sword.

I facing an issue with the game on PS5 even after the update I played in my us user for 125 hours no single issue my wife UK user same console she is getting error during the gameplay "Something went wrong with the game or app" we did reinstall but still same issue not a lot but its happening.
Just don't update the game if you don't want nerfs or if you're not done rune farming

Well it did Fd my fun on my 1st run of the campaign as I don't do PvP on souls games. The nerf to the N&F sword was unnessesary, as even a moving goat can evade the magic attack. But oh well, migh have to change my build now
Instead of taking the lazy route and nerfing stuff across the board, nerf it where needed. Nerf dmg from and to invaders and leave the pve and co-op stats alone.

they didnt fix the incorrect weapon upgrade damage/scaling
they just redid previous levels so +24 pre-patch does less dmg now so the +25 "scales correcty" post patch
my keen nagakiba +24 pre-patch with 99 dex was doing like 644 AR
now my +25 nagakiba with 99dex POST PATCH is doing 625ish AR
yet the weapons that didnt have this bug have a true lvl 25 upgrade
keen uchigatana +25 now has more dmg than the keen nagakiba +25 even though the nagakiba has better default scaling
make it make sense?
This is stupid overall from a PVE standpoint. Is it not possible to do what they did in some games where if x scenario is in play ( In this case Invasion/PVP ) have decreased values seperate from PvE stats with said items. That way PvE is untouched. ( Division had it where Sets or items had specific buffs or debuffs built into them for PvP .
Personally the ice stomp ability nerf was overkill. they couldn't of just increased the FP cost and left the damage alone? Less uses but damage goes from a great to decent dmg from a spam dps standpoint.
They nerfed the turtle shield ๐
The Ash of War Golden Vow still buffs the damage of the character, be it another weapon (without the ash of war) or spells, from what I tested.
The ice stomp attack was completely broken. It was funny though killing bosses in a couple stomps
Radahn has been nerfed. Might wanna investigate some other bosses
Personally, I think the mimic should've stayed the same. It's a pve item you can't use often. And it made boss fights better especially the multi-boss fights.
This game is gonna be a lot of tougher for people who start playing now vs those at launch. Icerind axe carried me through early game and sword of flame made mid-late game trivial once I added the int to use it (Im a paladin build str/fth/end/mnd )
For anyone who didn't get to fight Radahn pre nerf, I'm sorry.
I was very sad a bout the hoarfrost stomp nerf, as it had helped me to no longer be hard stuck in the game. I don't really do pvp though so I could see how it might be unfair to have such a strong weapon art in that mode (bc it WAS busted).
I think the PvP excuse is just lazy programmers. It can't be that hard to make these nerfs apply only when PvP is in progress. Those of us who don't give a damn about PvP shouldn't suffer for it.
