This Elden Ring beginners guide will show you how to get the best early armor set (skeleton armor) and weapons in Elden Ring, depending on your character build. I will be showing you where to find the Royal Remains armor set location and Clinging Bone weapon location which are duel wield fist weapons that have a special attack that can heal you. The Royal Remains armor will also heal you back to 18% health. We shall also be obtaining the hidden Ivory Sickle weapon location too. I will also be showing you how to defeat the secret boss Ensha of the Royal Remains and giving you some combat tips and tricks on how to beat him. Note that the Haligtree secret medallion right and left are two parts that create a key to access the lift of Rold which takes you to the secret area of the Consecrated Snowfield.

  2. First time when I loaded in and saw round table was all dark I was like “huh. Weird bug” then ensha showed up and I was like “whoa whoa whoa! Thought there was a truce or something!?” Then I murdered him with no mercy.

  9. To fast travel back to roundtable hold, on cosole, press triangle, then square, then select ok. There is no need to drag the cursor over to the location. Please pin for visibility.

  11. You get the armor even if you kill the guy in the clay pot so it doesn't matter in this instance whether you killed him or not. Not sure how it impacts any potential side quests or something but the armor and daggers you can still get.

  20. This is my first foray into a dark souls game and I took your advice and am learning to use a Xbox controller. I’m still at the beginning so this is right up my alley I’m now in the place where you have to fight that red guy but he beats my ass religiously hahahaha I’m keeping at it I’m sure I will get him soon. Still getting used to the delay in rolling and the weird hit arcs and stuff.

  24. The Arcane scaling got fixed in the latest patch, btw.
    Also, I've noted that Elden Ring has a major difference from past Souls in that weapon scaling doesn't make a very big difference. Most of your damage comes from weapon upgrades and affinities. Scaling only becomes relevant after like, your weapon is either fully upgraded or close to fully upgraded. So don't fret too much about stats as long as you have met the base requirements.

  29. Just FYI, the bonus effect for the health regen stays on permanently if you have the debuff from the deathbed companion. that counts as having your hp reduced since your max hp is reduced by 5%.

  36. So I didnt get this haligtree medallion half until after the forge of the giants, when the roundtable changes. Now this guy is gone and i never got the invasion or the armor. Does anyone know if this guy goes somewhere else? Or did I miss it completely.
