Guys, doing glitches like this is unwise. It can bug your game and lock you out of content because you're sequence-breaking the game.
To vastly oversimplify it, games work by using tags, so when you complete a given objective, your save file gets tagged as having completed it. For instance, after you beat Rennala, your save file is tagged as having beaten her, and as a result, she sits in the library where you expect her to be. There's a good chance that entering this area will tag your save file as having completed some unknown previous objective(s) that you're supposed to have done before arriving, therefore potentially disallowing you from actually doing those things or advancing quests involving them. It's a "better safe than sorry" situation.
In the best case scenario, nothing is really different, but the worst case scenario is that you're unable to finish the game, and you can't really know where on the spectrum your tour to this area will put you. The consequences might seem neglidgable, but then 10, 20, 50 hours later you realize, "Shit, why can't I speak to this integral character?" At the end of the day, it's totally up to you, but it's best to just advance the story naturally until you arrive the way you're supposed to. Don't say you weren't warned!

This has to be an Easter egg. I'm almost positive. Everyone of the skips seems to be for people that give folks fits like doing it to get into Leyndell using the same perfume grotto. You get to skip the Tree Sentinel.

I just tried this. When I quit and reloaded the game I spawned in the air in a random place and fell to my death…. WTF?
I did this on Xbox Series X and worked like a charm even after the March 25 update.
