When we published a beginners tips guide to #EldenRing we didn’t realise that for many new players, our tips weren’t beginner enough. So, we made Elden Ring for Dummies – an in-depth Elden Ring explainer covering attributes, levelling, weapon scaling, equip loads and more. Then we made an Elden Ring Combat For Dummies video, covering the basics of fighting. NOW, we’re diving back into the Lands Between and offering tips on location progression – where should you go when you’re feeling stuck? Is there a preferable order to tackle bosses in? Let Aoife Wilson be your helper and guide once again, and do let us know if you have any further questions in the comments! #Eurogamer #EldenRingforDummies

Weird. I haven’t run into a 2 key dungeon yet (I think). I’ll have to keep an eye out while I rune farm for the final boss.
I’d love to see a Ash of War guide. I didn’t really start using them until 2/3rds the way through. They really make a huge difference, but I have a hard time stopping to experiment.
Good god! I have 180 hours between three characters and i DID NOT know about powering the Great Rune! W. T. F !
Ey! More elden ring from eurogamer! 😄😁
Thanks
The enemies in the mine in Limgrave are exceptionally weak to fire damage. Buy a torch from the first merchant and use it in your off-hand to strike them. This makes them easy to kill and is good practise for exploring the dark without a shield which isn't always an option. Also map fragments can be seen on the map in undiscovered areas as a little obelisk marker, pretty much the only thing visible on a map before it's discovery.
For the merchants, you can also murder them all and collect their bell bearings. Don’t do this until you’ve unlocked the Roundtable hold. Once at the RH, you can turn in NPC bell bearings to buy whatever they stocked from the sisters. We haven’t yet seen negative effects for doing this, and it means you can find all purchasable goodies in one location.
Gimme all the elden ring content. Put it in my veins
Got me thinking – what happens if one of those giants falls on you after you defeated it? Instadeath? They deal damage? Nothing at all?
I've been trying to find this location to Power up the rune but can't find it! =(
I killed 4 dragons before even beating Margie. Go to the dragon alter and get rot breath. This does mega tik damage. Breath on them and then BOOK.
A note on great runes: they last until you die, so they insensitive taking your time and being cautious. If you are proficient at staying alive, there's no reason you can't use it everytime you die. I haven't run out yet, and I have around thirty at all times.
so i just started playing and somehow without defeating Godrick I entered the Liurnua of the lake(don't ask me how), within 2-3 hours of playing and I didn't even explored Limgrave till then……..no doubt why I thought this game is so stupidly hard XD
i skipped the first area all together i am at the end and i am having trouble
my staff cant be upgraded i should have gotten a new one already or upgrade the other staff i have
1st time playing souls games and I took on man on the horse and most tof the guards the dragon amd mam
I'm a beginner so this is great
Rock Sling doesn't do traditional magic damage I heard and seemed very effective against the dragon in Liurnia you fight near the flintstone key. He was just as week to rock sling as the other dragons.
Pro tip: lobsters don't funk around.
Elden Ring is the best game ever made!
These guides are amazing and invaluable. Thank you
Ever thought of doing a complete walkthrough Ellen done dark souls and helped me actually complete dark souls I did it along with them each week. Maybe u guys can do the ring 😂😂 that's if any of u can stand to do it again. But I would probably find it really helpful. 👍👍
I can't even get into the tower to fight Godrick. I have no problem with the difficulty whatsoever, I just can't stand the lack of direction in this game. I feel like Miyazaki is just a pretentious d*ck to not offer any direction whatsoever.
You do not have to defeat goldrick to access liurnia of the lakes. There's a detour you can take on your way up to the main castle gate that goes around the castle.
I did exactly what you said on video and I have not seen a change in my rules after 15 minutes is there something else you have to do besides walk down the stairs and then walk up to the safe point ???
Probably should've mentioned the physick flask crafting, I'm level 80 and just figured it out lol….
I can't thank you enough for taking the time to make sure those of us that need the little bit of extra help get it. It doesn't take that much but we really appreciate the help when we get it!
I couldn't find any tires
Awesome guides, would be nice if they were in a playlist on the channel
Excellent guide. Great info, minimum spoilers. Well done!
