The key items are usable later in quest-lines, npc interactions, or late game doors. That prosthesis will be useful in a questline for Melina from Caelid

It’s funny how this point the mimic knows how to kill the skeletons but cowboy hadn’t figured it out yet lol
35:07 Guy has been playing this game for 50 or more hours and still doesn't know that skeletons need to be hit again after they're taken down to kill them.
