I’m having a harder time with a couple of gargoyles, than I did with this guy.
A good way to cheese this boss is getting rot on him and then running like crazy while your summons fight.
Every time I see him jumping off the horse to summon, a single tear trickles down the corner of my eyes.
Lvl 62 with my int/dex build only used rock sling it’s so overpowered lmao
Radhan gave me more trouble than any other boss i think, maybe Malenia but Radhan is super weirdly coreographed with his damn mummy horse and circle movement

I used over 2 days to beat this guy when i was around lvl 56. I never want to experience this fight again, ever. And im NOT new to souls games….
Radahn is the only boss I would say is beyond annoying, like I feel the sniper shots right as you get in to be a tad bullshit. Like Radahn can end the fight before it becomes a fight.
Patches has the returned to their world always pops up immediately after patches has been summoned literally 100% of the time for me lol
I like Patches is the only one who leaves, that fucker saw who we were fighting and noped the fuck out… not that I blame him tbh. xD
What’s really bs about this boss is that sometimes he’ll be less aggressive and most times he will go all out and attack relentlessly it’s so random. Also that horse glitch happened to me too it’s so annoying lol it just ass to the bullshit of this boss
took me 2 hours at level 60. the hoarfrost axe got me through this battle and all the others tbh. I honestly don't think I would have ever been able to beat this guy without it. Goodluck covering this in the walkthrough i wouldn't want to fight this guy again 🤣🤣 – apparently he is suggested at level 90

Tip for this guy, he is weak to Scarlet Rot. At the Cathedral of Dragon Commuinion grace site, there is an altar that sells Rotten Breath for one dragon heart. It only takes 15 faith and 12 arcane to be able to cast, and you only have to get him twice with it. Once in the first phase, and once in the second phase. Stay far from him and let the NPCs distract him while you run behind him and cast him, then spend the rest of the phase resummoning the NPCs. Rinse and repeat until he rots away.
EDIT: When you start off, don't use your horse. It's easier to dodge those black magic arrows on foot. When he does the volley of arrows, get on your horse and stay on. When he puts away his bow, you can find an opening on his back to cast the rotten breath spell. During his second phase, stay on your horse. When he casts the homing missile looking attack (not the huge ones), then you can get off your horse and dodge those on foot just like the beginning of the first phase. I really hope this helps someone

You know things went nasty when there's a death montage in the video, but i ll be honest, radahn mopped the floor with me for at least 2 hours and forced me to change builds
This shit took me 3 hours
I just beat Radahn yesterday. It is reassuring to know that even you struggled. Also, when I killed him he did not do the one shot moves. I stayed closer to him and he never shot them off.

So.. Attempt 999.9 eh?
This episode encapsulates how I felt yesterday when I fought Melenia. Got my ass kicked by her for a few hours before I finally beat her this morning. Partway through though I was so done with her and cursing FromSoft for making such a bullshit boss. The jubilation from finally winning is worth it though.
Lets be honest, this is a bullshit boss. I'd rather fight bed of chaos multiple times than fight Radahn again. This fight
1. Relies too much on rng with the summons to the point of being somewhat of a gimmick
2. Has summons that do cockroach damage. This wouldn't be too bad if they didn't also get destroyed in two hits.
3. Has janky hitboxes, ESPECIALLY in phase 2
4. INSANE tracking
5. Damn near all of his phase 2 AOEs will one/two-shot you if you don't have 40+ vitality
Don't get me wrong, Radahn looks cool and the ideal of it being a raid boss is interesting, but the execution was horrendous imho.
Once u realize to stay back and not cross the dune he won't launch the volley of arrows get the summons then once ur summons reach him get on horse go to him get up in his ass hole and use bleed if u have bloody slice that messes him up I did this and he had less than 1/4 of his health before 2nd phase goal is to kill fucker before he launches those one hit rocks he has if u stay as close as u can he most likely doesn't launch them but I was try every other way and I wasted about 3 hrs the bleed took me 2 tries technically recommend going up the dectus lift and beat the bosses in the capital first and be around lol 80 to 90
I really think this is the worst fight in Soulsborneld. It's a huge gimmick, having 5+ phantoms helping you, and yet the boss is actually insanely hard especially given that he's only a mid-game area. Fighting him at this point was harder than Gael, Friede and Midir. Even Isshin didn't give me as much trouble as this guy. I could only defeat him by respecing to use the dragon rot breath incantation to cheese him and then respec back.
They really messed up with this guy. I really think that in the patches he needs to be toned down a bit.

It took me 20hr to beat this guy. Now I have to beat him again since Steam update corrupted my file. Fcuk you Steam.

Man this boss is a pain if you're trying to go head on. I beat him by literally just running around on my horse and re-summoning the allies. Doesn't seem to be a limit on allies, just revive them constantly and let them kill him.
How do I get this chest piece Cowboys using?
