Serious question, if I have never played dark sould or even bloodborne, should I get this first or play like blood borne or darksouls first?

Lots of people always find a way to complain about something, tbh just be happy that software made a new game plus this is open world and we actually have a mount so this is a huge change
I like the art style of that steel bookcase. Hopefully they reconsider the art style in the collector's edition and premium and go with that.
Reused animations means more time to work on other parts of the game

I think dark souls’ games are some of the most visually appealing games there are. Yeah the demon’s souls remake was gorgeous but it was also made exclusively for the ps5 and a lot of people that are whining about the graphics will be playing this on ps4. Besides how many animations do people think you need for pulling up on a heavy door with both arms?
Not changing things that work perfectly fine. Ie doors and backstabbing just frees more time to get new stuff to look and work better

Elden Ring definitely isn't worth 60$. It's worth far more than that!
And I didn't pay mere 60$ on it. The 70€ I paid for it are almost 80$.

didn't George R.R Martin write this game? I don't follow these games too much but I suspect it wasn't cheap recruiting the Game of Thrones writer.. it's quite obvious these games focus on lore & gameplay. Anyone with common sense would understand this and ignore the graphical criticism
My only complaint would be ps4 should be at 1080P and ps5 should be 1400 P . Frame rates always more important for great gameplay. Hopefully at launch we can choose

There is some content about how doors are such a pain in the ass in video game development. They have always looked good, so why make a new animation and go through that hell all over again?
I’ve never played these types of games but I bought Assassins creed Valhalla on sale not too long ago and found out I enjoy these games. Never played dark souls so everything that was reused here is going to be like new
For me it feels like dark souls 3 with mods, nothing else.

omg.. im a huge ds fan and will love to play elden ring but what are you talking is shit. Let the people have their opinions. If they think its not worth 60 bucks then maybe it isnt worth 60 bucks FOR THEM. holy moly…. This game doesnt even comes with 21:9 support and is locked on 60FPS. Also a lot of ppl who could play it on network-test on PC talked about framerate issues… At this point im also thinking about not buying it on release and wait and see how the releaseversion is and maybe waiting for some patches. You should not call everyone stupid because they have different opinions dude…
