My first introduction into soulsborne games was bloodborne and i loved it for how little of it i was able to play. And i know i will enjoy Elden Ring even though i will get destroyed.
This game is so popular that it beats minecraft in viewers on youtube livestreams even when Pewdiepie isn't playing it.
There is a lot of cracks in the game though that you more notice the further you're in the game even putting the stuttering and such aside. The boss design is pretty poor in some of the bosses. The level design is good but there isn't much individuality in it, like after you've done a few things it's all the same after especially if it isn't your first souls game but other than that it is a pretty good game. 7/10 so far
I had no stronger feeling like a badass than after beating Radahn and finishing him off with a (charged) lightning spear. These games give me this feeling, its really just from games and old school titles (and indies) that seem to try to nail this idea of the game is hard but mastery makes you feel like a god once you learn to overcome it.

I played dark soul 3 and it's difficult and fair I just learn the attack patterns of the enemy and bosses, it becomes easier when you see the attacks coming

Honestly playing it on console has been a great experience. So good that in fact I’m going to make another world so I can make sure to get everything perfect on my main world. Also as a tip if you press L1 on a ps4 controller, you can hit on the left side of a horse so you don’t have to move
I don’t think I’ve ever seen comments this unanimously in agreement…and it’s for great reason, this game has been one of the most immersive pieces of media I think I’ve ever seen.
I like playing combat games but Elden Ring is my first soulslike game that I have ever tried and I have never played any other soulslike game in my life, but I can say that the hitboxes are just accurate than the most combat games that I have ever played.

THIS is honestly the best game I've ever played. The open-world is just flawless. I've never played an open-world game this great. A strong second is RDR2.
