I get the feeling that charlie just doesn't feel any negative emotions. Like where other people would rage he just goes "……waht" but when something nice happens he gives the most enthusiastic "OH YAHH BABYYYY!!" it's so wholesome and i love it.
I picked prisoner as wanted to roll a spell sword. only issue with the starting weapon is that it sucks via horse back as it does pokes instead of sweeping attacks. It;s otherwise a solid weapon. I will likely use the spell that gives you a magic sword on horseback though, which does sweep so not an issue. I am thinking about levelling a 2nd weapon that is better for hose back though (like the twinblades)
It is awesome to see DEX back at the top though. DKS1 DEX was king, but then they nerfed it quite hard in DKS 2 and 3 (mainly via there not being many weapons that were good) and STR builds became the best. I hear that DEX is now reigning champ again though. I only just started my playthrough though, so too early to tell.
I'll do a second character with a great sword I think though, as it can be fun to roll a proper heavy boi.
I called my prisoner "the ring slayer" as I made him to look like an anime version of jamey lanister from GOT. also he slays rings 😉 it felt fitting though as it has JRR involved, but I made him a bit anime to nod to from soft. basically this involved giving him one red eye, and a very conveniently placed scar that didn't hinder his beauty. the scar is next to the red eye though.
Very happy with how he looks, but then he's wearing the iron bollock, so you can't see his face anyway. he's gonna have a reveal where he takes it off in front of the waifus though and soaks all the panties 😀
You're meant to fight the Tree Sentinel via Horseback. Not that it can't be done on foot, but you have a way better chance with hit and run tactics on Torrent.
PS: I love that the horse is called "Torrent" and the game was also cracked on day one :'D

Ok so the watchdog boss, on ps4 ver 1.0 he just feckin slides and levitates. He does not stand up, he does not walk. He didnt even have a idle animation. Just literally slid around the room and levitated ominously towards me.
The only thing I dislike is the Co-Op and I get why they did it the way they did but when I want an open world game with my buds that’s what I want not a broken multiplayer finger or board to put on the ground and bug out freeze ect.
I really hope we don't turn summoning ashes into the new "Easy Mode" meme, where people will say "you didn't really beat the game if you used them" It's just something to use your FP on, and gives a good reason for From to design encounters around multiple combatants even if people don't summon a friend. Some fights it makes easier, but some fights they're borderline useless. This game doesn't give you a lot of levels compared to other games, so it really seems like the game is balanced around you using them whenever possible.
Does nobody else feel like it is about time that the roll slash roll gameplay go in the garbage? I picked up the game and I've got to say that the hardest part about it is just motivating myself to slog through the repetitive aspects, which are most of the game, and maybe it is just me but I'm kind of shocked that this title got 10s all over. It's a pretty good troll for everybody to be overrating it like that though.
