U dont have to kill every enemy in the castle for him to fulfill his duty. U just gotta kill the boss

Yo this is not the final part of the quest. Go to revenger's shack north of the big tree in western liurnia. He will invade you, if you kill him there you get all his loot including the +8 halberd. Also check the shack after you kill him, he would've avenged his daughter.
After I found that she is dead I went back to the tower and he is gone so now I dunno what to do
I tried to save her by making another save but can't. Sad.
I thought I've done something wrong, but now I got it, it has to be sad…
I killed the boss before I went to him but when I returned Irina was dead?

killing everything isn't needed, you simply need to talk to him and kill the boss and go back to him and then go back to where his daughter was
well that was depressing
Once I saw Irina died I killed him, thinking he would just disappear or whatever. IG I just thought his questline was done. Didn't know he'd go to her body, shame.

I killed him on the tower after I found her dead… oops. Thought since he was so persistent to die for that castle, instead of going to his daughter (which might've saved her), I might as well help him. Got his halberd though lol
If you want the father to be alive after his daughter has been killed you need to kill the boss there before meeting the father. After that, the father will thank you for delivering the message from her daughter and devote his life for her.

I didn't even interact with her dad. As soon as I saw her there on the ground I turned right back on Torrent and I slaughtered all of them that were in the castle, and the ones on the way there too. That's what I get for liking an NPC in a Dark Souls game.
