  1. Some tips of someone that’s playing this build:

    – Loretta’s Greatbow spell is an amazing addition for style purposes. You can get it from the boss at Caria Manor, northwestern Liurnia.

    – Carian Slice melts bosses, but it does very little poise damage. Because of this, spirit summons work fantastic, especially the tankier ones.

    – Have a weapon with Int scaling for back up purposes, and for clearing weaker enemies. Any weapon can be magically imbued with a Magic ashes of war.

    – Lastly, some enemies are super resistant to magic damage. The spell Rock Sling that you can get near the meteorite staff does physical damage, which is a fantastic backup plan.

  2. How does this dmg compare to your other spellblade? How does this compare to dual wield berserker vs barbarian 2h?

Because this has a shield .. I guess this is best defense and offense build?

  3. Really cool build, but why are you comparing a +10 staff to a level 1 staff? They should be compared at both level 1, or both +10, so the comparison can actually be fair. Saying "this gets better than a level 1 staff at +10" is a pretty lame comparison, because why not make the staff that starts better +10 instead? Wouldn't it further compound that starting advantage?

  4. This is pretty much exactly what my INT/DEX build turned into as I’ve been going through the game. Started with Prisoner and I’m rocking the Carian Knight set, Meteorite staff, Carian Knight shield, Rogier’s Rapier+8, and the Moonveil Katana. Moonveil’s ability is absolutely insane and it melts enemies and bosses. I’ve also been collecting all the memory stones for extra spell slots. I collected the Meteorite staff early on and grabbed the Rock Sling spell that was in that same area. I highly recommend that you do this, because Rock Sling when combined with the Meteorite staff is super OP. The spell can stagger enemies and bosses and does really good physical damage. I’m planning on swapping the staff later because you can’t upgrade it.
