I remember in an earlier episode that you were in that exact location of the painting and commented on the scene almost in the exacted position as the painting shows. I just went back and found it in part 6 at the 10 minute and 15 sec mark.
If you play around with the ashes of war you can change the weapon scaling on the mace and even add different status damage and effects.
