I encourage you the viewer to discuss any points that I raise, down in the comments below.

  2. The horsemen are mercenaries from the mountainous far north, Kaiden, and are like you say in the employ of Godrick. Their look seems like a bit of a mix of steppe horsemen from the east and northmen of Scandinavia. Their helmets look like quite a mix of eastern (the plume) and vendel era Scandinavian helmets (the nasal-visor).

  3. 1:34 Fun Fact : the Roman Legion did not have a reliable cavalry unit, so they usually hired foreigner's cavalry instead. For example, Caesar's Legionaires would use Gaul's calvary, because of their fast and flanking ability.

This is probably the same concept in the Godrick's army in this game as well. (Kaiden Mercenary is their name, I think) 👌

  4. Ohh man I wanted you to keep talking to Kenneth Heights. He has some interesting lore on Godrich and would’ve loved for your input on it. Love the videos and I wish they were longer. Lol

  5. My current theory on Melina and Renna is that they are not the same entity, or if they are, they are opposed to one another.

Renna says, "I wonder when the tarnished will tire of obeisance to the Two Fingers", which kind of implies that if she had her way, the tarnished would not follow the path of grace. That seems directly contrary to Melina's goals.

  6. I have a theory that looking into Saint George and the dragon slayer might be worth the time given the very clear Christian ties and communion. One account is that the crusaders mysteriously brought back the story of him with them and that the dragon that was slain demanded human sacrifice once other offerings of livestock and trinkets were unavailable or perhaps no longer enough.

  7. Eridin, I apologize if this is too back seaty. I also hate making this comment considering the video was recorded over a week ago (day 3?) and someone could have already mentioned this but I will right now because I think it is important. I would suggest, if you haven't started doing so already, to use map markers to mark npc's and especially merchant locations on the map. The game doesn't seem keep track of that stuff so it is up to the player it look like to keep track.
