For those unaware, you can actually get past Stormveil Castle without having to kill Godrick. If you zoom in on the Stormhill Shack site of grace on your map, you can see a path that continues to go north. Follow that path, and you'll come across a ruined bridge. Walk to the end of the bridge and you'll see the path laid out for you to follow to get past Stormveil.
