I passed by the somber smithy a lot and he isn't there. Is there a requirement?
5-9 and 10 locations? Would be nice to have a plus 25 weapon. I'm about 10 levels from that on my flail.

The weapon upgrade system in this game is horrible. It literally takes 97 stones to upgrade 1 weapon to +25. I have no idea what they were thinking when they went this direction. For people like me who like using multiple weapons it's a nightmare.
So what’s the highest you can get a weapon and what’s the highest level of smithing/somber stone?
You can also get smithing stone 5 n 6 from Smithing stone miners bell bearing 3 in next to zamor ruins, in mountantop of the giants, also smithing stone 7 n 8 from completing the dungeon of crumbling farum azula, so you can have infinite stones from 1-8 in late game
Somthing interesting about Ijin and this happened to me, if you miss talking to him before you get two runes. He disappears. I can’t find him he’s not in my game anymore. Idk where he went or if he just moved. He’s gone.
That dual sided red blade; I have it but im not sure I like it better than two katanas I can put blood flame on… thoughts?
For anyone interested it takes 12 of each stone to reach +12, this will cost you a total of 100,800 runes from no upgrade.

Lol, for that crystal boss, I just kept back stabbing it with my uchi and eventually it’s shell cracked, it took longer than it should have, but the boss got beat so…..

How do you get that red twin blade in the video? Is it better than the regular twin blade?
Or just maybe kill some npc to get some bells amd there gear
One of the most important guides for this game. No matter what your build is, if your weapon is trash, you're gonna get shredded. Those later bosses don't care.
So i inadvertently approached the chap the sells the somber smithing stones thinking he was a Demi god and he upped and walked off. Any idea where I can find him?
