I'm level 90 with astrologer and it's grate at the start of the game but late game its fairly weak, faith is a better option for late game, I'm gonna restart a new game in a sec. Appreciate the video dude.

So should you not upgrade arcane for a mage? I've been leveling that up..?
Does the seed stack? I chose that as my item when creating my character.
Faith might be spreading too thing. I do think incantations might be more practical in the game overall with usefulness but Astrologers shouldn’t focus on them. Many of them are more closer in range than a spell and many are also buffs and healing. Perfect for a paladin build who uses weapons. But as a glass canon your buff probably won’t be effective enough and that heal incantation is too slow and wastes the precious FP you need to cast. You are better off healing quickly with a flask, summoning hordes of wolves or something as meat shields/distractions and quickly getting spells off. Kill them fast because you’re squishy. At the start I focused on Mind, Intelligence, and Vigor. I only put enough points in vigor so I wouldn’t get one shot. Now I am a 3 shot in boss fights lol. 20 mind feels like a comfortable place to be for a while. I run out of FP fast but it’s decently sustainable for harder bosses. I do regret not putting more into intelligence within the first few levels. I chose to upgrade endurance instead but went a couple levels too far for where I am. I would say once you feel comfortable wherever you are in the game with the stats you have for mind, int, vigor, and endurance, then a throw a couple points to dexterity but not a lot. We need someone to calculate the math to see what level you should stop for dexterity before it truly has no befit for casting speed. You might also want to consider strength for holding small shields but that’s your personal preference. I am going to wait and see if there are good spells and staves that require higher faith or strength before I upgrade to them
Wanted to say that your guides have really helped me get into Elden Ring, and in particular, enjoy the Astrologer class – really clear and easy to understand. A quick question to help my decision making with regards to stat distribution. What kind of stats should I aim to achieve by a specific level? (just to help with building up each level)

I would have also added the location of Sorceress Sellen in the Waypoint Ruins as she sells some more sorceries and later you can give her scrolls to unlock more

Until your 32+ in intelligence and 22+ in mind don’t put any points in anything into the others except 2-3 in vigor. Then you can spread out a little
Me avoiding magic at all cost in every rpg ever because sword good, magic bad.
Also me, tried an astrologer for my second build after a full strength build- “hey that’s pretty good”
This game needs a balancing on skills. It's not fun when you literally use the same skill the entire game. Also faith isn't really worth it if you're picking astrologer. Stick with sorceries. Not incantations.
Would it be too much to add erm a maps? When you talk about "you go there and there" 🙂 I know it is a bit more adventuring if you say just "NE" or something like that.. but if people look at guides.. they literally go for informations they do not want to search for 🙂

I went talked to the girl in the shack 1st, then went to loot the corpse outside after (contrary to what u did) & got Trinas arrows instead of the stonesword key? lol did I fuck up 😅
