I just cheesed him… I used a Dragon Incantation to put the Scarlet Rot on him, so he continued to take a lot of ticking damage when I couldn't hit him. Scarlet Rot is basically just better poison. It does a lot of damage over the course of the fight.

1st phase is easy ish. It’s just the second phase that doesn’t leave any openings
