Elden Ring How it’s Made – Walking the Walk Series
Due to the stutter I found in the og footage this is sadly the broll. Which means not aligned. If I didn’t do this I am not sure I would have time to do the video ever sadly

  1. I've had a blast with the game so far.
I only hope they will release some end game stuff with Coop in mind. Would love something like Ghost of Tsushima where you team up with 3 of your buds and fight waves of enemies. Or like destiny with some hard raids that are almost impossible to do alone but feasible with a friend

  2. Though i've seen gameplay, this is the first time i've seen someone deep dive into the inner works of the open world and how it affects FromSoft's gameplay loop.

Phenomenal work as usual, Karak. Cheers.

  3. The elden ring pc port is absolutely magical. I can run red dead 2 on 60 fps with my gtx 970. But even if I turn elden ring on low at 800 x 600 resolution I still have 40 fps with stutters and drops. This game runs so bad it made me doubt if my pc was failing but after playing some proper pc games again Im convinced that they just uploaded the ps5 version of the game on steam. It just runs like I play something on an emulator. My pc is dated but 1080 at 60 frames on something that looks like dark souls 2 with grass should be possible.

  4. I’m on ps5, I haven’t had a single technical issue in 50 hours of gameplay. Maybe I’m just lucky? I also have a hard drive? Maybe that has something to do with it. Has anyone else on ps5 experienced any issues?

  5. Great video, been enjoying this game and exploring the world. I knew about Dragon Lance starting out as an rpg game but didn't know about George Martin's game. That's neat. Apperently That's how The Expanse also started.

  6. I really like the Wild Cards mention. I feel that George R.R. Martin excels in setting the foundations for shared worlds like that one, so it totally makes sense that he'd be able to blend in with (and yet enhance) Fromsoft's writing for an highly communal game like Elden Ring.

  7. The fact that it never holds your hand, gives you map markers or fairy dust trails is so refreshing. You can lose yourself just exploring or get lost trying to find a quest location. It is an outstanding game, despite all the issues to get it to work properly. 30hrs in and I've only just beat Magrit.

  8. I play for a few Days now with a 980ti. 50-60fps, max xettings, no stutter at all. FROM outdone themself here. Best Soulsgame so far. Atmosphere is far and beyond.
I have atm problems with a boss tho. But hey, thats how it is. The Quests are cool too, but its almost impossible to follow them without a guide.

  9. I changed my NVidia 3D settings => Shader Cache to unlimited. Worked fantastic, sometimes in bosses I still have stutters. Still unacceptable just thought I would throw it out there.

  10. This was my first fromsoft game that i actually beat, had 93 hours in the game but had to delete for my own sanity due to that horrible Malenia fight,a nasty stain on an otherwise beautiful game.

  11. 30 hours in. It now is one of my favorite games. I haven't played many From Software games (10 hours of Bloodborne, 10 of the Demon Souls remake), but I'm loving just exploring and slowly learning the systems. I play a lot of D&D, and I can say this is the best D&D video game.
