i agree they need to fix the lock target thing. trying to kill a boss in a panic to avoid its attack the lock target change to a goat on the background behind a tree quite far away which causing u to die is quite annoying
All these youtubers are running the same "meta" routes and the internet just copies from each other again and again.
Fun fact, they all miss the first little secret that is actually right at the beginning when you come into the open world.
They all use the same builds and weapons missing out on a ton of fun with other ways to play it.
Maybe stop following "do this, do that" guides and play it for yourself, this game holds more secrets then any guide will ever show you.
p.s. the constant crying over auto targeting is just people not going to the options and changing their target options that have been in the game from launch just like the option to show keyboard shortcuts instead of gamepad. Go to your options and set it up how you like it. Use your brain.
One thing I would love to have in elden ring is the possibility to craft armors from the creatures you defeat, so to increase the choice and personalization of the character and making it fun to collect different kind of armors.

My only problem with Elden Ring is that it is fantasy themed. I am so bored, tired and over fantasy and if for the next 10 years there would not be single fantasy themed game i would be happy. That said, i really, really and i mean REALLY like Elden Ring!
My only request for this game, I want a map indicator or checkmark or something that indicates u completed an area, dungeon, or world boss. That is all I ask for 😊

The dead taking dmg from healing magic is a final fantasy thing, i remember casting life on a boss there and 1 shotting it!

someone needs to mention that the game is overhyped, and has nothing groundbreaking to it. and the perfect scores are BS, since the game has the same amount of issues like other games, and they get review bombed. problem lays with the blind FromSoftware fanboys. don't take me wrong the game is fun, but far from a masterpiece. and no offense to Open World Games (been watching your content ever since you started on Anthem) but it feels like you are way to positive when talking about games, and rarely criticize games which is needed to stay honest.
All Elden Ring content for a long time please. Or as much as possible.
Please undertand that I'm in love with this game. For some sick reason, I will to just walk around looking for new things. But sadly this bothers my friend so much who is following a guide and is waiting for me at the next site of grace. But this is where my only issue with this game comes in… The Co-op.
Why cant I just join his game from the beginning and finish it with him? Would be so awesome! But NOOO… there has to be fog walls… And he can summon me again if I leave and he gives 2 steps foward. So unnecessary if you ask me… But I must admit, I use this "I'm on my way" time to sneak in a explore minute or 6…. Or until I get a nasty word from my friend again… Haha.
There's a beast repelling torch a merchant sells in caelid. It causes the animals in caelid to not attack you if you don't hit them. Also works on rats, and I think dogs/wolf's. Definitely worth carrying around, especially in a rat ambush.
And what about the FPS drops? They fix it?
I'm loving it, myself. Extremely hard to play when you have a 3 year old. I just wish there was an in game quest journal. Not even map icons or anything, just a journal in map screen.
Question for someone who's played the game:
I play stuff like the Witcher trilogy and the Dragon Age trilogy on normal difficulty…would I enjoy Elden Ring? I'm really interested in playing but am concerned about it being really hard. I play games to relax and destress. Don't want to spend $60 on something that will constantly piss me off 😀 LOL
After coming from cyberpunk being the last game I bought, elden ring has such a full and rich world . From software has come to the table with an absolute feast of content and replayability and other games are expecting us to settle for ice cold shit soup , no thanks
Reviews on metacritic that have 0 (which basically would mean the game doesn't work or even exist) should all be deleted. You loose lots of brain cells reading those reviews. I get it when some give it a 5 or 6 since they expected something else or isn't their cup of tea, but a 0 should be impossible.
This pretty much proves that easy mode does exists with the damage bonuses…
I really hope torrent gets an upgrade to have six legs in up coming dlcs!~ (not that it is completely linked to norse history but the god Oden has a 6 legged horse!!!)
Edit: Not complaining about the cosmetics or saying add it as a microtransactions, just wouldn't it be cool if torrent being a spirit be able to be upgraded too?
In Final Fantasy XI, healing the undead enemies would cause damage to them as-well. Only other game that comes to mind with this mechanic.

You can kill skeletons with any weapon if you hit them again while they're glowing in the ground before ressurection. I would like to think this is a bug, would be better to must have the correct tool for the job… but anyways, there's that.

You can cheese the blood boss is mogwhyn palace by jumping on the tombstones than the wall make sure you hold run on the last tombstone so you can make the jump onto the wall.
The twin fights that you can take on always bug the crap out of me with targeting. I was fighting the crystal twins last night and the game wouldn't let me switch my targeting between them. It would lock on the closer one, and wouldn't let me switch to see what attack the other was prepping. Lost a lot of health and possibly the match because I couldn't fast swap between the two bosses while in the boss fight.
Honestly it is my first game from fromsoftware and I enjoy it alot only now after 25 h of playing it. But it could be a bit more story driven. Because you dont know really where to go or what to do next . I tried to open the map the more possible before I really start playing. Pass my first 20h avoiding combat because everywhere I would go I would get oneshot by the enemies.
