  1. No Ultra-wide support, forced 60fps cap, no FoV slider, my SSD peaks 100% usage making the game stutter (only in this game), mouse cursor emulates controller making it a horrible experience.
Seriously, it's 2022 we gotta stop accepting shitty ports. I love the game but refunded it.

  2. The game is fun. I loved Bloodborne and as a pc player I was looking forward to this game. The performance issues still leave much to be desired but it does seem they are being addressed quickly.

  3. "All of the disastrous game lauches whos full potencial arent realized because publishers are more concerned about rushing games launch and fixing them later" DAMN…people already forgot that the same thing happend to elden ring. Shitty launch because they rushed the game in order to make money. They want my money day 1, but they are fixing it taler. They dont respect customers, this game doesnt meet quality standarts (ofc im talking about pc release).

  4. Even Dr disrespect likes the game. I love all these new people finally understanding why us die hard love from software. Best devs about. No dirty microtransactions. Reminds me of the games from the 90s personally for many reasons

  5. Nothing is ever perfect but Elden Ring feels like such a love letter to the genre they created, taking it to the next level and I personally absolutely love it… even though it destroys me regularly… probably actually partly because of that!
The move to an open world feels like the perfect match for this style of game, taking the edge off of the grind when hitting a difficulty wall in a boss or area, by simply letting the player go do something else somewhere else and keep progressing. It is a one of a kind gem of a game that unseated Breath of the Wild as the most fun open world game for me thanks to the added tension and sense of constant danger around every corner while out exploring.

  7. The game has little to no glitches or bugs. Just a big beautiful world to get lost in and for 70 hours that’s exactly what I’ve done. Easily one of the best games I’ve ever played.

  8. This is one of the best games I have ever played to and this is The first time playing one of their games
The Open world is just too good
I love the fact that nothing is marked and I actually have to look for it

  9. CDPR, this could have been cyberpunk 2077, over a week since release and it still has one of the top played numbers on Steam alone, let's not even bring in the numbers from other platforms (don't forget this is mostly a single player game). But you FUCKED IT ALL UP WITH YOUR GREED!

  10. And yet i have to see people saying that the game needs an easy mode to reach more people and get a new audience and sell more.

This sales figures beg to differ, catering to your core audience pays much more than going after a fabled bigger market.

  12. I am from UK. Woop proud to be apart of this.. feels like they know all the good things to reuse from previous games and feels like a natural evolution. But I always know FS heart is always in it and they are dedicated to fixing launch issues. Also doing that after horizon release 1 week is nuts

  13. Ps5 Is really being good to me.

    Miles Morales – Amazing
    Rift Apart – Amazing
Jurassic World Evolution 2 – Disapointing
    Forbidden West – Incredible
    Elden Ring – Pending

  14. Almost have Platinum myself and I can truly say I don't believe your 100 hours in like myself lol the devs made so many bad, poor and or lazy decision is so many places it hurts. Otherwise the games freaking amazing lore, graphics, world and characters wise.

Long story short the boss types and what you can or cannot do for some is actually abysmal.

  15. The core reason From Software has managed to top itself despite a heavy streak of successes is likely due to a perfect storm. From Software is team of talented and ambitious devs, even if it's fairly small. They know their limits and have gotten better and better at pushing those limits over time. Their publishers thankfully not only recognize this talent but make little to no efforts to change their goals or bother them, letting those talents shine. Even Activision of all places were perfectly fine with turning their From Software Tenchu sequel into the standalone Sekiro at Miyazaki's request, and put in zero microtransactions or other such nonsense. The development of Sekiro is likely the least evil Activision has ever been, all because they chose to trust From.

This is a rare combination of corporate trust in a truly great development team. This means that things go more smoothly in general. It's been only 3 years since Elden Ring's announcement at E3, and about five years since development officially began, and here it is rivalling massive games made by massive teams that have taken upwards of 8 years to develop. This game only taking five years to make is even more impressive considering it was From Software's most bumpy ride yet.

I expected Elden Ring to feel like the end of an era, and in a way it still does. I didn't expect it to feel like the beginning of a new one.

  16. You noted a sentiment a lot of people are voicing at the moment, the 'how are they gonna top this?' issue. The thing that has me excited is people talking about how Sekiro actually entered development AFTER Elden Ring. Sekiro will certainly have influenced some aspects of Elden Ring, but the final product likely doesn't look like it would had it started being produced after Sekiro was fully released; that is, they likely haven't incorporated everything they ultimately learned from Sekiro. The combat in particular could become even more of a perfect fusion by the next soulslike game From eventually puts out.

  18. i mean it makes sense to me, CP2077 was getting blasted by reviews before it actually released. All you heard about the game is that it was terrible and was broken, which for most cases was true but i dont really think its a fair comparison.

  19. Cyberpunk is dead and I hope that game never gets fixed and I hope it disappoints every single PS5 player because there such a bunch of assholes and they scrutinize people for not having a ps5.
