  1. Tbh I am so excited every time you upload a new elden ring video 🙂 your let’s play of this game is (imo) perfect. You‘re really good and i‘he seen you discover things and beat enemy’s where others had to do so many tries. And it’s really exciting how much you care about the lore and the details. It‘s hard finding YouTubers who don’t skip the dialogue and who read the item description. I just want to thank you for taking us with you on this journey while also being incredibly entertaining. You deserve a million more views and I hope your channel grows a lot in the future because you honestly deserve to get some credit for it

  3. im fairly certain i havent seen you do it, but another tip for horseback riding is when you kill their horse or knock them off while they are splayed on the ground you can sometimes get a critical by light attacking them on foot before they get up. the placement and timing can be funky though

  4. It’s shocks me that you only have 28k subs, it seems like you should have hundreds of thousands with how often you post and the quality of the content

  5. Can I just say that I’ve been watching lots of LPs of Elden Ring, in between playing it myself. It’s a huge game, and for practical reasons I think I’ll only have time to continue to watch one LP. It has to be you, Mapo. Your infectious enthusiasm and spirit of wide-eyed wonderment for this game’s many and varied horrors has been my ambrosia.

  6. If you have PC lag problems, then you.. well everyone here 😉 "hi youtube" should try to put the Effects Quality down. I got everything on max but motion blur off and effects quality on low. And it has done wonders for the gameplay. Hope this helped someone 😀

  7. "Blaidd" is actually Welsh for "wolf". In the Welsh language, two of the letter d next to each other are pronounced like a "th" sound, so his name is pronounced "Blithe" or "Blyth".

  8. I love that you're taking notes. Yesterday I resorted to making conspiracy board-esque word associations to piece together the story as I understand it, this game can be very confusing but it's so rewarding to try to understand it haha

  9. Blaidd is pronounced as if it's Welsh. It's actually the Welsh word for wolf! "dd" in Welsh sounds like a "th" or "f" sound.
His voice is also Welsh. There are quite a lot of Welsh accents in the game which made me swoon…

My character was called Griffith until I heard all the Welsh accents and names. Now I've changed it to Gruffydd, the Welsh spelling of Grittith, and feel at home.
