About 90 hours in right now, enjoying your coverage of the game.
Great job on Margit, Mapo! 👌
Best playthrough on Elden Ring at the moment imo.
I’m loving the save points and statues near boss fights. The run back is the one hallmark of a souls game that I never particularly enjoyed.
At around the 31.25 mark of the video you fall of the edge, but when you get your souls again, you pick 2768 souls. You had 3953 prior to that death…
Mapo, are you depraving us viewers of more deaths??
first time I saw that wind blast attack from Godrick, you must have really pissed him off 😄 i love your playthroughs by the way
the only thing i dont like about this game is the permanent feeling that i missed like half the game even though i am very thorough in exploring everything.
By the way, don't be afraid to explore as much as you want. You were pretty underleveled for godrick lol im impressed you did that well! Either way play how you want just letting you know the game wants you to explore. Because there is still SO MUCH stuff in limgrave that you missed.
second try with margit….i am really impressed
Godricks wind attack is what had me raging too. It comes out so quick, and unlike most magic or melee attacks where there's a clear object to dodge or an AOE where there's a really obvious buildup, he just sort of swings and it's there. I got hit by that attack so many times.
You should hit the silver scarabs you see to get more ashes of war you walked past like 3 in this video
Your margit fight makes me embarrassed of my skills. That guy trounced me over and over again. Good job
"I feel so bad for these pots"
>murders even the ones that are sleeping
Your experiences with Margit and Godrick were the exact opposite of mine. I beat Godrick on my second try, but Margit completely annihilated me for at least 2 hours.
The last name of Margit is „Gut“
lol no the maps much bigger than that :p
DESIGNATED JUMP BUTTON
Bleed is OP asf to be honest
Cannot wait for you to track down Praetor Rykard down in Mt. Gelmir 30 episodes from now haha. He's easily my favorite of them all.
The path on the side of the castle is not a dead end. It is a shortcut to bypass the castle when coming from the other direction.
I also recall losing my chit in Godrich's 2'nd stage for an hour and a half . As you might have noticed in the last episode not all scarabs refill flasks but some give other things, so you might not want to ignore them. And maybe you'd want to explore Limgrave & the castle a bit more, just saying..
Does the gestures have any description in this game? I'm afraid some of them have some function like make contact or path of the dragon gesture
I was waiting for this episode, and no spoilers but "the true elden ring starts now" lol
So many people I'm watching were stuck on this boss for hours lol. impressive, Mapo.
At 1:28:30 by the bridge, cant you jump up that with the horse or is it too high? Also pretty sure thats how you can bypass stormveil if you want to skip it but not sure if it lets you as i didnt try it myself
damn that katana you are using is very op maybe i should try it
Did my man just second tried Margit?? Damn boy
I was hoping for a bigger reaction when margit had his dialogue from the trailer
This man just speedrunning to Godrick in 50 min, poggers.
Okay, that Margit fight was incredibly impressive.
That cliff path you found after godrick is a shortcut from limgrave to liurnia, so you can bypass the castle.
what level are you at ? Margit with another trying to sound wonderful: D I haven't watched other videos that I don't spoil myself
I hope he'll keep exploring Limgrave for a bit before going on to Liurnia, there's a lot still left to find.
You're getting really good at these, man. I've been playing since 2010, and I tend to have a harder time the first way to go than you do.
The damage difference between light attacks and every other attack is kind of insane. Like, you hit someone with a light attack and it's alright but a jumping attack or a weapon skill does 3 to 5 times the damage and breaks their stance.
I love seeing you get fucked lol
Margit took you 2 tries, he took me like 20-30. But this random enemy around 24:00 that took me 2 tries is clapping your ass like bongo drums. Super cathartic.
