I started Elden ring day 1 on the Bandit with daggers, they have never been bad, I melted bosses so fast that I missed whole boss phases and thought my friends were lying about.

My current build is using true sword phalanx with glint stone kris and swapping off my left hand to a ice proc dagger that scales the same as glintstone kris. It is actually a joke how easy things get staggered then I can swap to a high crit damage dagger and it’s just too good bro. The phalanx allows such good crowd control combined with glintstones ash of war
I’ve been telling people within the r/elden ring discord that daggers have been busted for so long at this point I have dedicated builds at this point to proving people that daggers are OP.
I’ve always wanted to go full daggers but I wish it wasn’t so reliant on bleed procs. 😢

As long as you have decent poise and fire resist, you can stand in the fire and repeatedly apply frostbite to Rykard. He dies insanely fast with dual frost daggers
The parkour sectons make my teeth itch, if on a small platform I prefer to jump in place and then hold down circle (I'm on playstation) in the air and hold it on landing, the player character will then go into a full sprint from standing when a direction is selected and you can do immediate long jumps.

Twin Great Knife or Great knife/Reduvia on a Dex/Arcane build (or twin Bloodstained dagger for Str/Arc) is one of the best builds in the game. The multi-hits talismans, combined with the speed of your attacks & LoBE/SoA = huge numbers, plus super easy status procs. (The only thing that bugs me is you can't put Seppuku on a dagger, which is ridiculous but the other bleed AoW work just fine).
It really is a shame that most of the unique weapons sucks hard

This run was awesome to watch. Daggers was the second run I did after my first original playthrough in Elden Ring so it's cool seeing everything now that we know a lot more about the game

on the margit fight you said the dagger was a little to light on the repose attack after the parry, but than ironically you bleed him almost immediately doing hundreds of damage. Like idk 80% of daggers have a passive effect, bleed, rot, poisen yk. u really gotta consider them specialties mista gino
