I put rot grease on an old +8 spear I had. I hit him 5 times and backed up for 15 secs. Then rinse and repeat until dead.
I didn’t sub after the first cheese, but the recheese nearly immediately gave me the inspiration

As of patch 1.03.1 on March 19 – everything works! And I followed some advises here, so I did rotten breath twice and rest with the bow. For me, the trick was to get those shackles but it's doable. Big thanks to everyone!

dont add any buffs or change your class once you shackle three times, the shackle will reset. and if you go too far left or right he will turn and break the shackle
Using Night Maiden's mist is an effective way to prevent any sort of stagger. Might take a bit, but requires no effort on our part.
