Blu I don't know if you remember but you have a lantern that leaves your hands free
Siofra is pronounced more like "Shee-frah" as opposed to "See-o-fra." Silly Irish words, they don't follow the very easy-to-follow and always consistent English pronunciation laws.
The Siofra River was the most jaw-dropping moment for me in the game yet, as you expect a short elevator ride, but then it just keeps going, and then you have the parts where you can see to outside the elevator, and you see the cave with the starlight ceiling, which is is really awe-inspiring… except you didn't see it, because you were looking down all the time!
Also, burn that torch to non-existence (or just lock it inside the chest and never take it out again) and just use the Bloodborne lantern you got Blue. That way you don't need to waste FP, and you can use your shield at ease.
Finally, that moment you realise that Elden Ring, for as huge as the map is, also has underground sections, and they're huge too!!
The elevator ride is definitley a "little" long. However it's necessary in order to make the depth of this place really sink in. I absolutley loved the visuals of Siofra. So far it's my favourite looking place. Though there are some close contenders. However I'm not gonna spoil anything for you. So you'll have to find them for yourself. There are some really jaw-dropping places in Elden Ring. I hope you experience the same sheer awe I did when I saw them. 😀
