  1. I love this build, thanks! I was playing the barseker build with its 2 weapons and jumping, but I was not super appealed with its lvl50 champion build, I will definitely switch to that. Blood and Rot? Yes please!

  2. Just a reminder guys! The most fun you can have with a game like this is to discover everything yourself and not look up gui- ah, I've been invaded by 1 of 3 builds people looked everything up for online for the 80th time in limgrave. Awesome!

  3. Man I've been wanting a build that could use the dragon incantations primarily, and this does not disappoint

Coincidentally I was also wanting to make a bleed build, so this is 2 birds 1 stone lol

  4. This is pretty much the build I started with. Bloody slash also works on some thrusting swords and the fast attack there procs bleed often and punishes slow attackers currently use with a shield, but might try duel wielding now after this video.

    Spoilerish stuff:

Since this build is so stat hungry early, radagons soreseal is good early and can be gotten at the start of the game. Also greyoll can be killed for 5 dragon hearts at the beginning of the game with a bleed weapon. I used the spiked mace found in the broken caravan on the path south through weeping peninsula. Plenty of guides online for both. This can allow you to wear heavier armor (I prefer cleanrot) to offset increased damage penalties and get all of your dragon communion incantations early with some dragon hearts to spare.

There’s a lone cleanrot knight near inner swamp grace in caelid that you can sneak up on and dragon breath to farm the armor. Also drops probably the best non-unique thrusting sword that also works with bloody slash.

Also it should go without saying that the Godrick great rune does wonders here for this stat hungry build. It’s a slight nuisance with multiplayer because you lose 5 endurance when you get pulled into another persons game, but I just switch from my great shield to a medium one and that usually gets me back to mid roll.

Also as a last note: once you get latish in the game you can can make any ash of war into blood, which I plan on using with bloodhound step.

  5. I am rocking this build with the Winged Scythe – after my 3rd hit on an enemy they are stun locked and bleeding. The Winged Scythe has Bleeding affect already built-in and it scales with faith-strength-dexterity. The Dragon Communion Seal is a beast – casting Scarlet Rot is devastating.

  6. New to the game. When I am duplicating the Bloody Slash Ash ONCE to apply it to both my falcions, will the Ash be forever lost just in case I will ever find and improve a better 1h weapon combo? Should I at least duplicate the Ash TWICE before applying so I will always have a spare one around to duplicate off in that case? This would mean hefty extra cost for the early game or can I somehow retrieve spent Ashes later in case I wanna switch weapons?

  7. You might want to mention rot breath farming. This skill is absolutly amazing to farm in certain places. Rotview balcony zombies on the road. Fort faroth harpies and bats if you can be bothered to wait for rot to finish them. Big egg monsters they explode if poisoned or infected with scarlet rot. There are some at the ravine or aeonia swamp shore. I am not 100% sure but i think talisman increases poise damage of breath attack. I have noticed i could knock harpies in fort faroth with it but not without it.
