As of right now it's not worth it upgrading to +25 because your weapon loses power opposed to gaining more. I believe it might be a bug but you should not waste your shards right now going from 24 to 25. I have a video on my profile showing what I'm talking about.

You can actually get one much much earlier than that. If you give 3 deathroot to the big boi at the beastial sanctum he goes aggro on you and if you kill him he drops an ancient dragon stone

You should make a video on the top 10 normal weapons that have customizable ashes of war. Ive been using special weapons since the first one I got and now I have a need for hoarfrost stomp and don't know what to upgrade.

I hear the +25 for armaments is bugged and actually makes the weapon weaker so just stick to +24 for now.
Cotton should use the Envoy's Longhorn. It is such a comedic weapon and I think it would fit his style perfectly. Its Ash of War is also surprisingly good despite looking so funny

There's currently a bug that weakens your weapon if you upgrade it to +25, or at least certain weapons.
This would be nice if the final upgrades weren't bugged.
