  1. Absolutely nailed the difficulty point. I was put off by how people made it sound like a “grind” (there are a couple of bosses and areas in DS/DS3 that are) but it’s really about persisting. There is no better feeling in a video game than the dark souls experience of getting your ass kicked on the beginning bosses, but later in the game you beat an objectively harder boss in one go because you’ve gotten better at the game

  2. As a filthy casual I am excited that this game sounds slightly more approachable/accessible to me. At the same time I really hope for the sake of the Souls fans that this doesn't ruin anything for them. Hopefully a balance was struck.

  3. Honestly, its not the difficulty that puts me off, its the fact you have to return to the point you left off at, and as a weakened version of yourself no less. Sounds pretty tedious to me, can anyone confirm that this is the case? Or is it now possible to return to bosses Mega Man style?

  4. I'd like to see a Soulsbourne game that isn't extremely hard I know people say that's part of the charm but I feel like a lot of the world building and atmosphere could work just as well in a game that doesn't take 5 hours to walk 10 ft

  5. Co-op? If I wanted to speak and deal with people I’d be outside doing stuff rather than inside playing console games😂😂
Looking forward to this game. Dark Souls had me beat, I’m still struggling with Bloodborne so let’s see how this one fares.

  6. When you went into detail about the stealth item you preetymuch ruined the whole review. I wasn’t watching this but listening. And caught too much of the explanation before it was too late. I’ll thumbs up because it always helps. But yeah. Totally ruined that aspect of a surprise for me. ✌🏻
