  2. I’ve beaten dark souls 1, dark souls 3, and bloodborne multiple times and I had no idea about the rainbow stone fall damage thing. I thought they were just little bread crumbs to mark a path in maze areas. Do they work like that in the other games? Testing fall damage?

  3. The beast repellent torch will have all dogs, rats, blood hounds, plague hounds and general carnivorous s#*twranglers fleeing from you, it’s nerve wracking but in most dungeons will buy you time and help vision. Just don’t walk into them as it will trigger a fight. Hold R1 or L1 to hold aloft.

    Edit: grammar

  4. Got to love that I knew all of these this, because I'm an addict to this game and talk to EVERYONE and explore EVERYWHERE! I love the little portals all around the place that teleport you to some random high level location. It's like a death lottery.

  5. Buy the beast repellant torch. There are a lot of beasts in this game. Including but not limited to those tough as nails lions in the castles….

  6. There's a cave on a beach south west of church of elleh that leads to an island where you can buy dragon faith spells. For those doing a faith build. Tho the bosses in the cave are hard. There's 2 in 1 room with a few (I'm guessing) goblins. But it seems worth it.

Also near Fort faroth There's a massive white dragon you can beat to death by hitting its back leg near the site of grace. (Idk why it won't move. Or why it's unguarded but I wasn't brave enough to look it in the face)

  7. Put the spectral summon ring, Lantern, crimson and cerualean tears on your triangle+D-pad quick select and instantly have access to your four most useful items without have to waste precious time scrolling through your equipped items.

  8. One other tip that I found that the game doesn't tell you is that you can mark areas as complete when you finish them so you know where you've finished exploring. Open the map, then press Y to view the sites of grace. Then you can click in the right stick with one selected to mark it as complete.

  9. Golden rune skulls also break when Torrent runs over them, and you can pick up the rune straight away with a well timed press of the Y button.
