  1. Add on to the tip about lore, highly recommend going to vaityvidya’s channel which is dedicated to fromsoft games and their lore. The guy is incredibly knowledgeable and concise so if you’re into lore diving then he’s your guy.

  2. Looking forward to seeing Nath tackle this game. Watch in a weeks time he'll already be platinum-ing it.

Goodness it feels like yesterday I was watching his Sekiro stream!!

  3. I am so looking forward to this game. After such a long time of not wanting to play these hard games I've been ground down to wanting to play the fromsoft games. Currently playing sekiro and I absolutely love it. Need to get back into playing bloodbourne after my one day trying it out.

  4. This is a really useful video for those wanting to jump into the game. For me, I just don't get the hype for the game. It feels like the game is deliberately obtuse to the point of annoying. If you have to watch a video explaining bits of the game, then I feel the game isn't doing enough to explain what its doing. I'll stick with Horizon!

  5. The things that made me nervous/hesitant, in FromSoftware games, are
    • The idea of taking a wrong turn, and getting stuck.
    • The idea of losing a lot of souls, makes me play nervously.
    • The idea of missing key items.
    • The time needed to get good.

…But I've gotten passed those, and finally realised what is so great about these games.

  6. Wish i could find a guide to understanding the stats of your gear when
upgrading, changing gear/weapons, adding ashes of war, and other
augments to your gear. for example a sword does 100 + 10, but i change
the ashes of war and it changes to 90 +20 with magic boosted damages.
    what does all that mean?

  7. A couple of quick tips – When playing as a Sorceror or other magic user, assign the Cerulean Flask to one of the pouch d-pad buttons by pressing options, then pressing triangle on one of the top 4 pouch buttons on the right of the screen and leave the Crimson Flask on the items button (Square). This lets you press square to heal and triangle+d-pad direction of your choosing to replenish FP while in battle. It saves fiddling around tapping d-pad down to switch between them . Great to have quick access to both at once. Also at 4:15 – if you're near a merchant and have lots of golden runes, its a lot faster to just sell them to him than it is to pop them in the menu. You get the same amount as if you had used them, its just much faster then selecting 'Use' or 'Use selected' in the menu.

  8. WARNING: allthough many of these tips here are true, I want to hint or warn newcomers from one tip: allotting all your flasks to Crimson tear. I do NOT reccommend this , you as you want to use your special attack very often to do way more damage than normal. This is another tip for newcomers: don't rely too much only on your light attack. Make use of your R2 and specials L2- both hand wielding attack. For this, use your right hand with two hands (hold x+R2) and make way more damage with this. It is better to stagger enemies this way, as you interrupt their attack and get a small window where you can land a critical hit, which you will see when many enemies drop on the ground and a "sound" is heard. So again: DO NOT distribute all your flasks to health, leave at least one for FP
