What’s the point of shooting the Bird tho?
I'm no mathematician, but I honestly feel like taking time to farm gold fowl feet isn't worth it. If you just stayed at the spot and farmed without it, you'd probably make more runes because you lose a lot of time farming the items instead of farming runes. The item doesn't last very long so it's a big investment for little return.

Is this NG+ ? Because lets say the Bird does almost 14k Runes and the little once you killed almost 4k thats 18k each Run. To get 12 Million Runes in an Hour you would need to do 12 Runs per Minute.
