I'm going for dual wield Curved Great sword right now. It works for me so far, but I pace myself. It's going to take a lot of time for my to complete the game. My strad is simple though and I've done it in DS1,(let's not talk about DS2) DS3 and Bloodborne. (Impossible in Sekiro) I get a big fucking sword and try to overpower anything that get's in my way, the harder you hit the better are your chances of surviving… It works if you know Traps and enemy movesets so progress is slowly since I'm basically a glass Cannon at the moment. I'm trying to find a good, and more importantly stylish armor so that I can stop managing my equipload and start putting some points in HP and FP Love the game so far π
#10 no no good sir just get gud scrub BE PATIENT and keep trying and YES die like 40 times so you can get those attack patternβs down and smack that bishass Golden tree boi
I recommend newer players travel south to the weeping peninsula before doing anything even related to the castle lmao.
And other big tip for veterans: switch your interact button and jump button. Youβll see that it helps your your muscle memory a lot(A for interact, Y for jump)
Starting off I found a glowing skull, broke it and went to the direction where I found it ended up dying a bunch but eventually cleared a group of enemies and rats. Opened a chest that took me to east and was stuck there for a few hours. Still liking the game though
don't fight the tree Sentinel until level 20 it, makes things easier. Sick the dogs on him after you work half his life down. I was on horseback. I haven't defeated him yet but …. I will around level 25.
Out side of tactical retreat. I would say don't be afraid of dying in search of figuring out boss weakness. Imo trial and error is the name of the game and whatever runes you lose will be easily made up by beating said boss and or other areas
I know you kind of touch on this in item 5, but I would recommend just trying to weapons period. For me, it's really easy to get stuck in a stock weapon and wanting to level that up or just running with a weapon because it has really strong damage.
But yesterday, I leveled up my dexterity enough to use the twin blade (thanks the recommendation of another source), and it's changed the game for me. Stats wise, it's not super impressive, but the speed and range of which it damages is wild compared to my stock sword.
Banished Knight Oleg and Jellyfish are my favorite summons; they work well for every situation. Jelly is tanky, hard for enemies to hit, and poisons them, great for big bosses like Godrick. Oleg is less tanky, but he has a lot of poise, hits hard for a summon, and has a lot of high-staggering AOE attacks making him great against both ganks and humanoid bosses. Only problem with Oleg is he's a tad expensive (consumes a full mana bar at 20 mind and needs Ghost Glovewort to upgrade) and is tough to get, as you need to beat the boss at the bottom of the sealed area in the tutorial. Both are amazing, so definitely consider upgrading them if you have the time/resources.
I didn't know about the talisman from the "hug" NPC. And I wish I knew about the south earlier. After suffering with Margit and then the castle, and the whole nightmare that is the east, going south was a respite. I want to try other weapons, but "titanites" are hard to come by. Gotta go back and keep playing. Love your coverage, guys!
I've been playing this game for a few days now and had no clue the baldachins blessing did anything passive, now I'm going to be looking at all the items for hidden debuffs.
Baldachain's blessing increases your poise stat, so it's a really good consumable item for characters with low poise. Also you need to consume/use the blessing to start its effects. After the status effects ends, your health should come back to normal.

So this whole time I thought these enemies got way stronger but really I had a fucking curse on my ass. Kinky bitch.
I cant even find the map or the round table lol
I level up about five levels then go back and beat that bossβs ass
Tree Sentinel has been the worst for me personally because not only can he 2 shot he also slows time
a lot of enemies are very weak to torch attacks π₯π₯
Confirmed, Fia gives you an STD when she hugs you. It's just the gift that keeps giving.
Remove… REMOVE Baldachin's Blessing!? Mom gave us it for being such a brave boy! Little hug and a forehead kiss for killing the demigods.
Sure it cuts our HP by 5%, but you don't just throw away GIFTS. So rude.
Can I level up my summons?
I saw a comment about it
Please tell me how to do if it is possible
4:46 what the fuck is that trying to absolutely mince jake?

How do you know if you are the right lvl for a boss? Do they have numbers like Assassins creed?

Thanks need to hear this. Love the game. But I can get to rush rush. Lol
"there's no way to know about the health debuff" she literally says to provide her with vigor

Wow that net negative blessing sucks πππ
There are people who didn't know how to level up
Don't stress out newbies… just pick the "wretch" class, it has everything a newbie could want to enjoy the early game without breaking a sweat.
3:40 spoilers π’π€π’

Thanks for the baldachins blessing. I had no clue about that lol.
Itβs funny, Iβve played every souls game, and Iβve been making the mistake of holding that blessing, had no idea it lowered my health

GOTY
Rule of thumb: The more the enemy's looks make you go "wtf is that?!" The higher level it is.
The spirit ashes are amazing! I've been using the Wandering Nobles so much; they're entertaining and a delight to see on the battlefield!
The witch literally doesnβt spawn for me Iv tried everything
