Had a little look around myself today but didn't get the awesome battle!
I see the update notes say, "Travellers can now search for, trade and scrap weapons." I couldn't see an immediate way to trade but have just thought about interacting with NPC pilots at space stations/trade posts etc.
So very cool! A little scary for my noob self but once I figure it out this is going to be SO much fun!
