Egypt is Building a $9.7BN New Nile Delta

Egypt is building the world’s largest artificial river, which will transform 9,200 square kilometers of desert into a new Nile Delta, helping feed its exploding population. Announced in March 2021 by Egyptian president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the project will involve new canals and artificial rivers to redirect agricultural wastewater from the Nile River to a new water treatment plant. It will then be used to irrigate 9,200 square kilometers of desert into farmland, creating a region called The New Delta. The project will create a list of benefits, such as increasing Egyptian food security, exports, and helping solve the water scarcity problem. Since announced, construction has advanced significantly.

  1. "Mister President, the new cities aren't helping with the overpopulation! What do we do?"
    "Just build more cities!"
"How, Mister President? There is no more arable land!"
    "Just build more land!"
"But Mister President, the land needs river to sustain itself!"
    "Just build more river!"

  2. For those who don't know, ElSisis is a dictator (it's actually trump who said that), he drowned his country in debt to build a city in the desert with all the fancy monuments and large government buildings so he lives away from the people who suffer from poverty because this dictator has decreased the value of Egyptian currency from 7EGP/USD to 50EGP/USD due to the vast amount of loans he got from the IDF.
The mentioned project will never happen because Egypt under the control of this dictator has become one of the most corrupt countries and the money assigned to this project will be stolen and transferred to Swiss banks before it can do anything helpful.
Remember folks: NOTHING GOOD COMES FROM DICTATORS.
