You know what is funny? To enter the World between Worlds, Ezra had to access an ancient mural of the literal personifications of the force; essentially an alter designed to worship them. And the only reason he was able to enter it was because Darth Sidious was using ancient Sith magic at the same time to try and break into the World between Worlds which caused the portal to open and draw Ezra in.
If the sequel trilogy didn't exist, I could see this show leading into something amazing. Imagine everything just turns on it's head when Thrawn and Ezra are "rescued" from the other Galaxy. Instead of them being enemies, they've been desperately working together to stop the Yuuzhan Vong from finding the Hyperspace Lane they accidentally torn between the Galaxies. And then Sabine's ill conceived rescue mission just thwarts all of their efforts for the past however many years and gives the Vong a direct access lane to the Galaxy.
And then it becomes a much bigger issue and both the Jedi and the Sith have to set aside their differences to fights what is basically the ultimate threat. You'd then be able to utilize Thrawn, Ezra, Ashoka and Sabine in an uneasy alliance as they try to remilitarize the Galaxy and bring the New Republic and Empire Remnant together before everyone is devoured by the Vong.
Of course, we all know the show doesn't go down this route, but a man can dream.

So, lightsabers. There was a reason you only ever saw force users wielding them. The only exception was Gen. Grievous, and Lucas had the line explaining that Grievous had been trained in the Jedi arts by Dooku. Lightsabers we’re so dangerous to wield that you needed to be extensively trained and have access to the force so you didn’t cut your own limbs off. Disney has reduced everything to some “cool” factor. Lightsabers, and lightsabers themselves mean nothing now.

In the Mandalorian lightsabers just bounce of his armour. In this episode Sabine acts terrified of letting it touch her, and in the next we see Ahsoka's memories of killing armoured mandalorians with one slash. And apparently Huyang is only allowed to use his extra arms in training and not when in a fight for his life.
In Legends it was explained that Jedi basically fought on two levels one through the physical and one through the mental (the force). They would be trying to throw them off focus to get through their mental defenses that would allow them to use the force on each other. Basically they had defenses up at all times during the fights to keep the other from using telekenisis etc. on them. So it was a duel on two levels. Too bad thats been thrown out. At least SOMEONE tried to explain why they didn't use the force all the time.
The green smoke that comes out when he dies is because he's empowered by night sister magic, his lightsaber is the signature weapon of the Inquisitors, and his appearance and voice are clearly meant to evoke characters like Revan, Kylo Ren, and Darth Vader. But he doesn't actually have a character, and he's unceremoniously killed off because he doesn't have any importance to the story. He adds nothing and only exists to reference previous Star Wars stuff, just like the rest of Disney Wars.
I know I'm asking a simple and silly question but why didn't the droids that were part of the first attack wave just self-destruct? They would have been sitting ducks but I guess in that case Boloni would have just written his OC to have Blando's little Gremlin's BS-shield of awesomeness.

My question is is the problem just generally dumb writing which all shows have in common? Or was a formula established in the PT as to how to write SW & feloni is just carrying on that writing style?
Baylan also has the advantage of looking different than all the rest of the characters AND having an OK design. 'Large, muscular, white-haired white man' is a really unique look for modern Star Wars.
Sabine is well aware of the fact that, in Disney, at least, Thrawn, all his troops , any and all imperial staff are basically useless. She also knows she, and Asoka are OP AF, and invincible. She also knows that no matter what she does will turn up perfect every time, with no consequences. As far as I'm concerned, all her actions are fully justified.
I suspect the director or choreographer went wayyyy off script with this one and said "Ray, mate, you can just bat and toss this tiny old lady around like a Piñata, right? Let's film a few shots of that, just to see how it looks. We probably won't use it."
Then in their next fight, they entirely forgot about that.
"Mandalorians are lame" 10 years ago this was unheard of. Mandalorians were some of the coolest, most badass characters in Star Wars and they earned it. This is what Filoni has done. This is the ruin Filoni and Kennedy have together wrought upon Star Wars. Star Wars Theory is a corporate grifter.
i find Ahsoka to be fascinating, as a character, she represents all aspects of heroism and adventure allowing the audience a vicarious link to this galaxy far far away. as a show, Ahsoka has been written is such a way that it relies upon secondary sources for exposition. the fans of this content can project and perpetrate any trait or thread they choose because what we are given is so vague and generic

Can someone explain to me what the "world between worlds" is? Is it literally just time travel?
