A good mission. And I just wanted to see if it was possible to have all NPC WDS alive at the end. It is but you have to be pretty conservative at some point. particularly if you take down all transports in a row like I did.
The order in which you should take down transports is important. Starting with the one in front of you and going clockwise the first 5 include the 4 that will drop flyers, which are the most important ones to go. The last 3, will be ants, pillbugs and ants again.
Normal cosmos will show up at 2 downed transport, heavies at 5. When the normal cosmos and the heavies are present at the same time, they can crush NPCs in a snap. So your only chance for their survival is to get away from them as much as possible hoping that the NPCs will follow you. If instead they try to attack any cosmos, almost certainly they will be wiped out by the mob.
Gleipnir does a good job of helping with that and works remarkably well in stopping cosmos and even eventually killing them. Boring but effective. Dragoon Lance ZM is awesome because it can one-shot transports. And VM Rush Core helps in Gleipnir’s rebuilding speed.
Really nice to have all the little girls alive at the end. EDF never leaves a girl behind… (just happens that all men were massacred…😂)
