Unfortunately this seems more like wishcasting than forecasting. Storm track doesn't seem to be set up right for big east coast snows. Maybe it will change by February.

@Direct Weather plz redo ur winter forecast, you grossly overhyped the wintry weather in the eastern US
There's like five or six channels that cover these storms, this one included that keep bringing up major snowstorms for the east coast/mid-Atlantic and it just never happens. Some even stating my state based on their snow maps, would get 3-6 to 8-12 inches of snow the last three storms. Not a single flake has fallen. Long range local models are showing mid 40's sometimes even into the low 60's for the next two weeks. So that snowstorm model is very wishful thinking.

Pretty much agree with Chris Smith here. I think a lot of these storms are going to be inland runners because the jet stream is going to be tilted a little bit more towards the coast rather than off the coast like 2015 where we had our snow megadon as they called it. I always hate when the weather channel and these other places refer to things like snow make it to Bombo Genesis. It's just cheapens the seriousness of the weather. Makes me think when "Jim can't ignore me" on the weather channel was making it look like this hurricane which is horrendously strong and you saw these people walking in front of them closer to the water at the beach and obviously the wind was breezy it was probably 35 to 40 mph. But the weather channel clowns made it look like you're looking at 80 to 90 mile an hour winds it was pretty sad. That being said I do tend to agree that the upcoming weather pattern is going to favor quite a bit of storminess but that big blizzard that was kind of like talked about slightly coming around the 15th or so I think it's going to be an inland runner I think the storm will run up the coast and then turn in land and go probably west of most of us in New England here which will turn out to be a typical quick snow flipped of rain stormy wind event. If that happens it'll be a lot of tree damage because it was a lot of tree damage just before Christmas. I just don't think this is going to be the winter for us overall in the Northeast. The West yes I think we're going to get a lot of snow.

I said it at the beginning of summer that this winter was gonna be bad and make history. It has, but You haven't seen anything yet. It's gonna get really bad, along with 2023 summer it will be very bad and dangerous. I got all those comments saved on all predictions I've sad. Even said about the multiple tornados that's was gonna happen. About the multiple volcanos that would go off at the same time or right after each other. I Said alot that has come to pass,as well as psyclineslz has predicted a scary amount of things that has all happened but it's only the start and not closer to being over. So much more life changing events yet to come SOOOO much more. People stick together and help all living things as you do so, only way your gonna make it in some places. And truth is it has only alittle to do with climate change,and ALOT too do with what mother Nature causes every few hundred years or longer. It always changes and is always different and always a 100 times worse.All my commentswas saved and wrote down as I seen them to come, clear back from 2019 until now. I can prove what I've said with witnesses as well. Just please Be safe and careful cause you haven't seen anything yet.

Are we doing this again? This is the weather forecast. Big storms on the way, but before they get to the East Coast as others suggest, the storm will miraculously be kept West by high pressure off in the Atlantic Ocean and move the storm north starting in Ohio Valley and head to the great Lakes region again. There is too much environmental damage on the East Coast so that birds won't even migrate through here. There simply is not enough wind for birds to migrate. Or to propagate storms anymore. Blasting the Virginia mountain tops off for coal exploration equates to Wind diversion. And building all these skyscrapers and subdivisions are all wind breakers and diverters. Weather people need to recalculate add in structure divergence and update their computer generated forecast models. Haven't you noticed that the majority of the time a big storm is forecast for NY NJ and CT a high pressure system forms off the Atlantic Coast and is drawn towards the inland storm and then it pushes the Low North and East of the Tri- State area? How many times have you seen that? And Why does that High pressure form? The missing Appalachian Mountain tops.
