  6. . China's nine-dash line claim was already invalidated by UNCLOS arbitration court. The Court ruling is final and binding to China and the Philippines but China rejected the ruling with continuing expansionism.

    Facing China's threats, the Philippines, with this $500 million US donation must boost its defense capability, acquire more Brahmos anti- ship missiles, anti- ship drones, more ships and fighter jets.
    The Philippines strengthens alliance with US, Japan and other like-minded countries.

    Whereas China have plenty of missiles from mid-range to long range hypersonic missiles pointed at strategic bases in Philippines, The US must deploy more Typhon missile launchers systems with short and mid-range anti-ship missiles, and longer range Tomahawk missiles. If an attack is imminent, it may deploy its Dark Eagle hypersonic missiles that can reach even farther than the Three Gorges Dam.

    The Philippines PCG and US Coast Guards
    jointly patrol the West Philippine Sea including the Scarborough, Ayungin shoal ang Sabina shoal' areas to uphold the rule of law and freedom of navigation.

    The Philippines file another arbitration cases to UNCLOS arbitration court on the Philippines WPS Extended Continental shelf claim, on China's marine environmental damages in building artificial islands, on China driving fishermen away from Scarborough shoal, and China's vessels illegal presence in Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone

    The Philippines invite China to submit all their territorial disputes over South China sea, West Philippine Sea, and Spratleys to arbitration by the UN International Court of Justice.

The people of the Philippines should note that if the Philippines accepts to fight USA's proxy war against China, the Philippines risks being destroyed and wrecked just like how Ukraine is destroyed and wrecked by Russia. You cannot fight a a nuclear-armed superpower that is both militarily and economically powerful than you are. Look, the USA promised they would come to the aid of Ukraine, but they did not as this would lead to a direct confrontation eith nuclear armed Russia.

  18. Singapore, the smartest country, as well as the most successful one in ASEAN, has been playing smart geopolitical balancing games between super powers for decades, for the maximum benefit of the country, without being squeezed and sacrificed as cannon fodder by the US or China.
    Filipino people always look at the success of Singapore with envy, and wonder why they can't replicate the best practices in their homeland and why their country is still deeply trapped in US colony mentality without a clear way out.
    Truth hurts. A smart leader plays smart geopolitical games and invites American and Chinese companies to build factories in order to generate jobs and increase revenue, while a clueless leader easily gets emotional like a kid, often is played by geopolitical players as chess pieces, invites foreign military to build bases in order to generate tensions and increase the risk of conflicts, and sacrifices the country's development and trade.
    Japan and S. Korea can sit down for negotiations and cooperations, despite of their long time disputes over the sovereignty of the Liancourt Rocks in the sea between them. That is political wisdom and diplomatic maturity on full display.
    Other countries such as China and the Philippines can definitely learn from S. Korea and Japan to manage their difference on South China Sea, Taiwan, MILF or whatever, and develop their relationship.
    Even the leaders of Vietnam and Malaysia are now much smarter, more resilient and pragmatic than P-Noy and BBM. Now the Philippines is the only ASEAN member that works as proxy for Uncle Sam in Southeast Asia, and puts itself into current awkward position of either losing face or losing credibility.
    Soon, even Laos and Cambodia will become richer than the Philippines. The Philippines will only compare better than Myanmar.

  20. Mr Palatino, why you did not condemn China's encroachment in the 200 mile EEZ of the Phils. China is the one making troubles in WPS. Chinese bad behavior and disrespect of international law are the root cause of problems in the region.
