  1. At that price you cant go wrong, i will admit. I would like to have one of these as i recon it would be good fun to blast around a beach or gravel track. Will see what ebay throws up over the coming months 😎

  2. Great RC, was my very first RC.. I’m lucky to still have my original Stadium Raider, and since have purchased a NIB

    Full set of bearings, oil
Shocks and some upgraded motor and pinion and they make a solid Runner. Be careful with the old Carbon shafts as they can split with the larger wheels on the buggy and Trucks.

The same body is used on the wild dagger, mad bison and the TT02T sand shaker

  3. It's the same with the TL01B Buggies, I picked mine up for £10 and have been rebuilding it, I nearly bought a Stadium raider cheap recently and I'm kicking myself for not getting it but I'm really holding out for the Impreza on the TL01RA Platform, I'd like the Mercedes CLK on the TL01LA platform too to complete the set, once you get past the weak upper shock mounts they are great handling chassis, I've still got my original 99 Focus WRC from 25 gears ago

  4. Nice truck. I have one NIB. I love the TL01 chassis, raced one in the early 2000's with iconic WRC02 shell. They're actually quite competitive with a few choice upgrades, such as oil shocks, ball-races and speed tuned gear set as you mention. They are a very tough and reliable car.

  5. That bodyshell is pretty awesome, I like the way the black and white bits have been done, it looks great! The TL-01 isn't a terrible chassis, I've had a few over the years, it's a bit awkward to work on but then again it's a Tamiya 😉

  6. Very nice car Andy! I have bought this for decent money (~150eur) around 2 years ago, NIB, not built. I love this weird car, but I'm a bit afraid to build it cause of loosing value, especially on those spiral spike tires, which are so rare (if you drive). I would put conventional square spikes if I would drive it. I have other cars with this body: WT-01 Mighty Bull XB, which I drive and TGM-01 Mad Bull nitro which I don't drive (it has new engine, not even broken in, with a very rare square and tall exhaust pipe). Cheers mate. Love you content.
