how did you figure out it was the kitty causing the lag?
you could take all the kittens and put them in a cage, you only need like 2 or 3 cats hunting vermin. the extra cats are just hurting fps for all the extra entity pathing if more low FPS starts happening. That goes for all animals really, anything over 10 of one type of animal you should start considering caging the extras.
