First time being this early. Neat! Dig deeper quill!
second!
1 hour of Quill. Brilliant
Go go go big plans
Ive never played DF yet but damn do I ever enjoy some DF Quill
what I have realized is you never want to put only one dwarf on a task because if they get lost there is noone to take their place
1 hr DF episodes the gods have spoken!!
The pillbox defenses sound like a fun idea. They sound similar in construction to the miasma chimneys I always insist upon doing to myself.
Maybe get rid of the fishery and place a butcher instead. You don't have one yet.
I don't feel as bad about missing some key work orders now after seeing you forget to make booze. I do like how DF gives you time to deal with things (mostly)
3 for 3 on falling asleep. so good!
"I need to put a cut in here" = under 30 minutes left to play. Maybe. Dwarfs aren't into time.
Praise St. Algorithmus!
Will the levels go bedrooms -> guild halls -> temples -> noble quarters? 🤔 Do we perhaps want more than one bedroom level?
I suppose it wouldn't take much effort to dig out a pig pen?
useful little designation trick I found a while back: if you designate doors one priority level lower than the interiors of rooms, they'll generally dig out whole rooms at a time (so you get useful rooms finished quickly), rather than randomly digging a third of lots of different rooms.
At elevation 30 on the left side there's a brown door next to a pink door and it's driving me crazy, can you fix it please 🙂
32:42 – There, at the bottom:
"digexp [<pattern>] [<filter>] [-p<number>]"
All commands support specifying the priority of the dig designations with -p<number>, where the number is from 1 to 7. If a priority is not specified, the priority selected in-game is used as the default."
So, for priority 7:
digexp diag5 -p7
Do dwarves no longer get disturbed sleep from nearby workshops?
