More please
more i love this game cause i'm a nerd
I am enjoying this Martian Potato Rancher Simulator.
You can put the hoses up by double clicking on them.
hi hi Grill's. the incubator makes only saplings. can you build some new stuff like garage ore small rockkrusher? GREATHING from Germany
Why haven't you build a bedroom capsule jett?
Why do you have 2 batteries when you can connect the 2 ECUs to each other into 1 battery…
– transformer upgrade not only adds 2 sets of plugs but it's also cheaper than the transformer itself and most importantly it doesn't need a small circuit board (same fro battery upgrade)
– having 2 transformer and 2 batteries is a waste of resources since you could get it all to 1 battery and 1 transformer now that you have the upgrades (5 upgrades or so can be added to each), this will also remove the second transformer that connects the two batteries to base
– I was reading the FAQ and found out that you can rotate buildings when placing the blueprints, use arrow keys to rotate them and also move them up and down
– when dismantling you will get 100% of materials from your building but only about 30% from things you find, since there is 1 small circuit board in a transformer you can get one if you are lucky
– every technology after science workbench needs to be selected from the workbench, you can no longer get chose them from your tablet (need a workbench for each biology, electricity, materials and mechanic), you only have to have them built when picking the technology so you can build them, use them and dismantle them (or build a big base with a lot of power and have them all built all the time)
– you can get a lot of pipes and plates from dismantling (got a full row of pipes in storage)
– for food you want to add an ingredient in every slot, it will make less packages but they will be more nutritious, it displays below how nutritious the package will be, number of packages is always the lowest number of ingredients in any occupied slot
Small tip, when selecting the amount of water/power for the plants table, you can just click on the "required" amount on the left and it will auto set that amount to your output to eat planting table.
incubator only grows stage 1 and you need to move the plants to the hydroponics for stage 2
lol cleaning the solar panel you dont need to keep dancing
meteor shower is dangerous when it hits your structures, there's also solar flare and it gives off radiation so you end up stuck indoor
arrow keys to rotate structures if you didnt already know
@20:35 you can exit the bench and can watch the tool on the side being upgraded
@31:13 just click the number below "demand" to auto set
btw to pick up cables you hold lmb on them
Do a long series regardless of likes. People in the future will be wanting to watch and enjoy this. Please.
This is a great series.
🙂
You can hold E down to pick up water lines or electric cables
You can also rotate items with the arrow keys
The storage "box" in the habit is a refrigerator. Not true storage.
on a side note. the transformer upgrade is cheaper than the transformer itself as it use less circuit board. ex 1CB for the transformer and no CB for the extension
same thing for the battery pack
also. found something. when dissassembling the battery. remove the circuit board before. it still gives you a circuit on dissassembly even if it's empty
Another great episode, thank you.
This is absolutely one of my favorite games on the current rotation. I'm hoping they built in proper terraforming, because it seems like they put a lot of thought into the other stuff like the effects of dust storms, and lightning, etc. It would be really cool to see the planet actually start to transform around you
13:52 the problem with panels only for charging the ATV is that 95% of the time the power from the panels is being not used and wasted, they prob should be connected to a battery. Then charge the ATV from a transformer port? EDIT: ha, later you do add a battery! But really I mean you could integrate all those into the new building's power so that it can help power whatever new stuff you add later.
Upgrade spectral detector to know composition of rocks
Sounds like you use the mechanics workbench to make the new ATV Grill.
33:50 Math to determine how much power and battery energy you need: First, terms: power is electricity flowing at a moment in time , measured in kW units; energy is stored electricity, measured in kWh.
Next, the power display at 33:50 The big number at top of the display is how much energy is in the battery (47.58 kWh) the pair of numbers below are the power draw limit (32.00 kW) and power draw right now (24.46 kW), for both day and night (if you didn't have a battery, stored energy would be 0 and power limit at night would be 0 since no sun). So, if your battery is at say 128 kWh, it can provide max 32 kW for 128/32 = 4 hours. But since your power draw is only 24.46 kW, a battery at 128 kWh could deliver 24.46 kW for 128/24.46 = 5.2 hours.
So, to calculate how much battery energy and power delivery you need to last through the night: 1st: your power draw is 24.46 kW, max power allowed is 32 kW so that's ok. 2nd: if night is 8 hours long, you'll need 24.46 kW x 8 hours = 195.7 kWh of battery energy to power the building through the night. Any extra battery energy stored is a safety margin.
Similar for charging the battery at 52:45: if you have a battery with 180 kWh max and you have 36 kW of power from the PV panels, it will take 180/36 = 5 hours of full sunlight to charge the battery from empty to full.
Are these plants special Martian plants that don't utilize CO2 out of the air?
I was also quite disappointed by the workshop printer; it seems to be mainly a convenience item (as in, you don't have to run back to the escape pod to print stuff).
Regarding your power grid (and water supply), solar panels are active for 12 hours. So as a quick rule of thumb, to stay powered all night you need to produce at least 2x as much power as you use during daytime, and store half of it (same goes for water, unless you are running the well off of batteries so it runs all night).
It's best to set up your power grid so that all of your transformers are before your batteries (you can daisy-chain batteries together after you hit the limit on expansions), because if the structure demand is less than the output value you have set, batteries will only send as much as the structure needs, while transformers will send the full specified value, thus wasting power.
Not sure if it’s already been mentioned but the transformer and battery upgrades aren’t just one, you can add multiple upgrades in the initial item, ie one transformer and a bunch of upgrades. This will save massively on item requirements and save on space too. And one more thing, not sure if you know but you can use the seed transfer tray to pick up a bunch of plants and move them rather than doing it one at a time😊. Great vid btw 👍🏽
From what I have seen of this game it seems like Planet Crafter which I love. Is it a lot like it or not much like it from what you've played?
I think the reason you can still unlock storage containers is that your current one is supposed to be a fridge but it’s labeled wrong in the build menu. I hope they fix that when they fix some of the other small bugs, because it’s confusing. Especially since the fridge doesn’t seem to show up on the list of devices in your base, unless I’m reading the whole thing wrong. Which is also really possible. Lol. Anyway, rambling aside, you got a ton of upgrades this time around. I’m really liking how the base is slowly coming together, especially now that you have the upgraded tools. I hope this game keeps doing well because I’m very much enjoying it. 😊
To pick the pipes up you need to click and hold and they'll go back in you bag.
At least you didn’t get a meteor shower, meteor shower destroyed everything in the food I was growing I had to restart because I didn’t have enough food 9:42
