When someone asks you about “cheating people”, just ask them how they feel about the workers who manufactured the shoes they’re wearing. I guarantee 99% of them are wearing something made in China or Vietnam. Workers making a slave wage, while they criticize you for dickering at a garage sale.

Kevin, You will find that it is people who dont really "earn" their own money that would think you should go back and pay more for an item that a price was agreed upon by both parties. If I were you I would probably just let stuff life that go most of the time. Addressing it on occasion is nice but most of these commenters are not realistic. I guess getting old has its rewards. I was the most Nieve person you would ever meet. If I found a dollar I would hollar..Did anyone drop this?? Five people would claim it. LOL But that was my youth. You are a businessman. I’m frustrated by the comments you get sometimes. I wonder if these people shop at yard sales? The people that shop at my sales will offer 10 cents for something marked a quarter 😮. I’ll say no. Clearly if I want to give it away I will take it to a charity thrift store and they can sell the same item for 4.00. I’d rather they get that money. What you do as a business and the charity work you support 🎉🎉 are very kind. The fact that you film your activity and share with people is nice. You be salty when you need too! Don’t ever change. FYI …you haven’t stopped teaching, you just make more for it now. Thank you.
People that don't resell, just don't get it. You have: TIME, gas, wear and tear on your vehicle, cost of goods, eBay fees and store subscription costs, etc. Time packing, printing labels, cost of shipping materials, driving packages to the shippers. Hopefully, in the end, you make a little money. Sellers don't cheat people, buyers decide to buy it now or bid, and how much they bid is their choice! Please don't be so quick to judge.
I was taught , by an antique dealer, that I should never feel guilty about buying an expensive piece of glass for next to nothing from a seller who doesn't know what she has. The profit I realize from that purchase, I deserve because I took the time to educate myself about the value of that piece. The seller only knows that 1. IT IS OLD, 2. IT BELONGED TO HER GREATGRANDMOTHER, yet she puts that $95 pitcher in a yard sale for $2.00. I sleep very well that night.

I don't mind you negotiating with people. I do cringe a bit when someone prices at like $10 and you ask if they'll go any lower, so they say $5 and you tell them that $1 is the best you could do. It doesn't happen often. I imagine that when these questions first come in, there are face-plants, but after multiple times there is some entertainment of strangulation. People don't pay attention, don't look at pictures, don't read descriptions, and don't have complete brains. I get very annoyed in live chats when idiots open their fingertips and type idiocy! If they had paid attention to previous videos, which they swear they watched, they'd know the answer to their stupid question. Others are just naturally annoying.
The seller is setting the price and you’re paying that price for the item. How is that ripping them off or scamming them? It’s not like you’ve told. seller that Action Comics #1 is only worth 10 cents.

If I know something's worth big bucks I actually tell them. As many times I have done it, none have kept it. They always say it's to much work and just want the 5 bucks. Makes me feel good when I turn it into a good profit.
If you went back every time you sold something for a good price, you would essentially be selling things for someone else! If they wanted more for the items they would have to do all the work that is involved with selling on eBay. Why are people so ridiculously stupid to expect you to do that?

How are you supposed to remember where you got an item? During yard sale season, I hit dozens of yard sales every week. If I buy something at a thrift store and make quadruple the money I spent, am I supposed to take money back to them too?
