Hi, not sure how relevant this is to your van, but I had friends who crossed the Sahara in a 1973 VW westfalia and they used to let 10lbs of pressure out of each tyre to give them more surface area to help avoid them getting stuck in the sand. Good luck.
Still driving my 19 yr old Toyota across borders. Keep those wheels spinning! ππβ
Great adventure! Welcome to Africa! Your door needs a little bit of WD40 though π
What a fabulous trip. I've always wanted to go to Africa, thanks for taking me along!
Africa is such a fascinating continent.
The Big Five is an outdated hunting term and used more as a marketing lure for tourists than a realistic way of thinking about the incredible wildlife in an incredible part of the world.
