  1. Always a fun game even if I've gotten use to seeing it with randomizers. You've probably already been told but the difficulties in the remake are Normal, Easy, and Very Easy. Playing Chris is usually considered Hard Mode since he has the smaller inventory and has to find small keys to open lockpick doors.

  2. I hope this means you're gonna do this regularly again!

Also in response to one of the comments in the very beginning of your video…. Indigenous People's Day is the replacement for Columbus Day because that asshole definitely doesn't deserve a day. So it's kind of a double whammy and is actually better than if you would have got an original day.

  3. Didn't realise you did gaming content drinker. Hope you enjoyed New York, on my own bucket list. Shame you didn't come to the Edinburgh Comic Con. Youve made me want for the gaming spooks so will dive into Alien Isolation, if you haven't played, I couldn't recommend more.

  4. Late to the party but I just recently played this game again after a whole bunch of years, showing it to my girlfriend through Discord streaming.
She said it was really spooky and entertaining just to watch me play through Chris and Jill's scenarios.

    Good times 😁

And yeah, it is one hell of a remake. Kept all the good core elements of the original game, while adding some new, non-lore breaking stuff that just added to the whole experience. Lisa Trevor for example, holy crap she's a spooky and depressing character.

  5. I like how the remake of Resident Evil 2 included the use of defensive weapons, letting you use your knife in the same way you use daggers in this game. Only in the RE2 remake you could retreive the knife after stabbing a zombies head with it.

  6. Bro! The knife is insanely handy. For starters you can exploit staircases to kill zombies with it. See zombies can't bite you in staircases unless you're standing on the same step. They can only barf acid at you in stairs. So it's easy to just dodge the barf and run circles around them while knifing them to death.

Also, the knife is really useful against the mutated spiders too, because they're really slow at turning. So you can run circles around them as well while killing them with the knife.

Third, if you shoot zombies with the handgun until they keel over you can stab them a couple of times as they get up, saving you handgun ammo in the process.

So the knife is not just for insane "knife only" playthroughs. It's useful for the "layman" as well 😁

  7. Great memories playing this on Sega Saturn at the top of an ol freaky house my cousin just moved into. It was a half way house b4 they started renovating and doin it in bits. One of the least trashed rooms was on the 2ñd foor in the roof space. The game and the house freaked us out so much wee pissed out the window rather than going down the dark scary stares lol.

  8. All of the Resident Evil games have great sound design. I still have the sound that the zombies made when they walked. Like someone wading through an ocean of mac and cheese.
