splattercat: Oh, fighting! who's fighting way up ahead?
i must rush to find out if the enemies can fight among themselves!
also: well, that's the end of the game. you folks will NEVER KNOW who was fighting!
Thanks for the video.
Cool looking game, you need to come back and re-visit it when they update.
The enderal mod was really great! Looking forward to this!
The intro on this one really dragged on.
Master and Commander is such a great movie
Modders are the last hope for the rwal gaming industry. They have zero fear to venture into new ideas, and expand and better other games
Splat is always asking for mini-maps from games. Some games are better without them, especially if exploration is an important part.
I just found a game called Sable. Highly recommend you try it out Splat! It's a bit buggy, but I think you'd like it.
This game has a lot of potential but the name is not great. Its not catchy and very forgettable.
*grumpy wallet noises*
Well isn't this a nice crisp piece of meat.
Hey Dev's 16:34 that little school of fish in the bottom left swim across the river bank.
Looks cool!
Hey spat, check out clash artifacts of chaos. that game is fire and those devs are sweethearts.
I cant wait for Kenshi 2.
You talk too much
It's a small world after all it's a small world after all
wishlisted..
I just started playing Enderal a few days ago. I wonder if it's wise to stray from the thing they're most known for, and have developed strengths in. Enderal isn't perfect, and it obviously lifts a lot of the nitty gritty aspects such as assets and base gameplay from Skyrim. But they've also demonstrated strong character writing, the ability to make a world map that looks and feels pleasing (even if it doesn't make a lot of sense at times), and the ability to source and direct voice talent with mostly good results (sometimes the voicework is a little odd, but most of the time you forget you're playing a mod). This is also a personal bias. I'm frankly more interested in a new TES-style RPG than in an on-rails resource management game. If they'd chosen to develop an RPG, they could probably have counted on more loyal fans crossing over, as well as more exposure. Of course, that's also a much harder project with the potential to flop.
I hope it works out well for them. But their site links to another game they released in 2018, currently sitting at 15 Steam reviews. This game already has more, so that's good news. But most of those mention Enderal, which brings me back to my other point.
0:57 The Flame in the Flood came out six years ago. You… you scared the shit out of me, Splat.
Man y do manufacturers do that shit? What's so hard about saying when manufacturing ramps up they'll be cheaper but there are trade offs.. making all these claims that it's better in every way is just not necessary not believable and worst of all not fucking true. Consumers understand more than these fools think I guess like be honest. It's cheap. That's it's advantage. Focus on that and make it cheaper and cheaper and consumers will understand the trade offs.
Wtf? This comment was for a completely different video.. weird is it really here or is my phone being whack?
Dude I feel like u can tell they're modders from those banners.. all of them were dope.all of em
It's insane what a small team of devs can make these days.
Kids today don't know just how many layers of software there are beneath these games that developers in the 80s had to code from scratch.
Dude, PULEASE do a kenshi overhaul video. Its the best game ever Im totally down for playing it anew but I wouldnt know where to start with mods quite honestly. You mentioned it so Im asking 😆
Wow totally reminded me of Flame in the Flood too, except it's been so long I was struggling to recall it's name. Remember that was an awesome little game.
I played the demo a bit, noticed that you could explore the map from the ground side.
Splatt… i feel like you need to make a part 2 of this video, because we can easily tell that even on its early access form you probably missed about half of the game
I buy this now. Me like much.
🙂
JESUS CHRIST FLAME IN THE FLOOD WAS 10 YEARS AGO ALREADY??
Good foundation, definitely a "wishlist and watch"
'Was I the only person that thought it looked like a tunic with a mushroom in front of it?'…..in this instance I would suggest that the answer was 'yes'!!
Nice Master and Commander reference. Amazing movie if you haven't seen it.
I actually adored Flame and the Flood, and so thank you for bringing this game to my attention!
Now I want to play The Flame in the Flood.
Great video as always.
yo that master and commander reference tho. A glass of wine with you sir!
Definitely grabbing this one from steam, cheers!
Seems like the spiritual successor of the river raid mini-game in AC Valhalla
Flame in the Flood is still so damn good!
this looks cool, river idea so good
