What’s really disturbing to me is the fact that people that considered themselves really of hip-hop. Are trying to act like writing your own raps is not necessary. It’s OK for a hip-hop artist to have a ghost writer and that’s unacceptable to me. This is how you diminish hip-hop by letting allowing anyone into it and that you don’t have to write your own raps.
you cannot be in the top three or the top 10 unless you write for yourself no ghost writer You could never be considered to be the goat of anything. It just seems like they’re willing to make any excuse for people like Drake or Cardi B or Doja Cat. These three artists are not of the culture and all of them have been shown to use writers they don’t write for themselves.. there’s a little? Maybe with Doja Cat but I don’t believe she writes all for herself either. But these people benefit from rap, culture, and community, but give nothing back to the community. And then say they don’t even identify as being black.. don’t stand up for black issues or support black issues on any scale. So why would black culture and Black people be lifting these artist up to any type of level?

Drake is dangerous to rap and our culture because of what he promotes and how he’s trying to hurt rap as a whole where the labels can generate money but not the artist.
