What I can recommend you is to go as deep as possible in the capital and you will find a door. Open it for something crazy to happen.

If memory serves, Placidusax is missing 3 heads, cause it's supposed to have 5, so whatever happened to him messed him real bad. Because 5 heads, 5 fingers, going back to that theme of hands. But now it has 2, like the 2 fingers, such and such and what have you.

Placidusax is EASILY my favorite Dragon Boss in any game i've ever played. Period. The only ones that have come close are Grigori from Dragon's Dogma, and probably the Lichdragon Fortissax and Lansseax, his sister. The fights have been so incredible and i couldn't be happier about it.
The CoDC in Caelid has way more powers that are added every dragon you kill except some others.

If you like this dragon you should check out lichdragon fortissax! Super cool lightning dragon. I think coolest in the game, not as “hard” as placidusax, but a pretty epic dragon all around!

Hé always beats a boss in 1 or 2 tries it’s rather annoying when it took me a hour to beat the dragon lord haha
if you want to spam your rolling attack (like for basic enemies) you get the same attack if you just crouch, which is faster and doesn't cost stamina.
