Noyce! So, I have this original set but a couple of them were painted already badly by a young Chris who apparently had vision problems haha. I ordered an original set on Ebay last year to try to paint them correctly and the box that came seemed original but the figures were 3D printed resin, not the original lead based. I'm told this is a common tactic online. Check for minor discrepancies from the box pictures and the weight / "brightness" compared to your other lead based figures of similar age. Either way, they look cool! just don't want to see you potentially taken advantage of like i was. They're super fun to paint, and I'd definitely enjoy a painting stream. Cheers!
I'm not a big fan of pewter miniatures due to they break so easy. Still that's a nice haul. I'm looking at the ads in Dragon for 90 and there are some adverts for the Dragonlance miniatures. A little bird told me that Ollies (its a retail clearance outlet like big and small lots) is selling the Wotc Dragonlance board game for ten bucks. I'm tempted to go pick it up for the miniatures at least.. I grab anything Dragonlance I can find regardless of whether I use it for the simple fact I was told 25 years ago all my merch was worthless. Look at us now. But I intend to put most of my DL stuff in a museum of sorts. After I play with it and or read it.
Oh man, super cool. I dont even do Fantasy minis (40k guy here mostly) but I am green with envy over soth especially. Jeepers creepers would I love to see a paint video. Awesome video as always!
I started worrying a little when you just had the dragon and not the figures, haha. Glad you got everything. You're actually missing the foam separator that comes with all the box sets, but that's no big deal. I'd like to see videos on your painting process and finished product (especially on Soth). Have fun, brother.
What a great early Christmas present. Thank you. I enjoyed it outside of cringing over the foam sheets. I was not too fond of those when I was a kid. I always thought the Verminaard miniature in this set was better than the one in the TSR one, far more dynamic. Cool video and I wish you and yours a safe and happy holiday season!

Holy crap! I just recently got a random assortment of metal minis off an eBay auction and the arms and body of Khisanth were included. No wings or top of the head though. Couldn’t figure out what it was supposed to be so thank you for solving that puzzle for me
The Villains box set is an expensive one and so is Lord Soth's Charge. I've been able to get the Heroes in the past 12 months and a full set eventually of the Draconians. Currently painting up the Heroes over Christmas.
